This Wigan kicking game has got to be one of the worst I've ever seen. In terrible conditions, we are barely challenging them with high balls. The few we put up, no one is even chasing and a decent fullback will always handle a high ball if he's under no pressure at all.

We have but still no real attacking threat. The damage has been done.

Once again, i think Shorrocks has done a *bit* better than most of the forwards, and Bullock has tried hard, but we are still being well out-gunned.

The intensity in defence wasn't there from the beginning, poor for a semi and nothing to do with the conditions. Not adjusting to the weather is criminal.

Leeds have been solid but Wigan are brainless.

The flaws in our team are being exposed like the Saints semi last year. Forwards are too small so can't stop the opposition or make yards.

Starting Farrell, Isa and Partington who are all small, Havard is only 19 and O'Loughlin who is 37 was a concern against Hull but we were able to move the ball well to make up for it. In this rain its been a disaster.

Compounding that our halfbacks have no kicking game or game management ability so we can't get out of trouble by flipping field position and we can't put on pressure when we do get good position.

We could be better with better coaching but I think there are some pretty fundamental problems with the team and the players should know to keep it simple in these conditions.

20-0 at half time is not good enough. Losing is one thing, Leeds have done well, but to not even get close is unacceptable.

The only thing I can see saving Lam now is if the pandemic makes recruiting someone else too difficult.

I'm interested in the reaction from the club. We have young forwards so that problem might be fixed with time and we have tried to address it but signing Burgess and Clark hasn't really helped. We need a kicking game we haven't had since Sam left.

I was cautiously optimistic since the Catalans win and you can blame conditions but this really doesn't look like a trophy winning team.

We've just been completely outplayed. They've dominated us physically, out kicked us and now we have nothing left to offer, no ideas at all, Leeds have done a masterful job of nullifying French and taking away our confidence.

It’s a sign of the steel that’s been instilled in the club from Maguire and Wane that we’ve stuck at it and are ‘only’ 20 points down. It’s been an utter shambles (like Salford in the play offs) and had we been 50 points behind it wouldn’t have been unkind on us from a territory point of view.

I’ve made my thought clear on Lam many times. The Catalans and Hull performances gave me a bit of hope that he could turn things round but they’re two flaky teams. We have no gears to go through when it gets to a knock out game and have been found out again.

Fair play to Leeds, they're playing this perfectly. We can't make ground up the middle because they're bigger than us, Gale knows to shoot up any time we try to shift the ball right. We don't have any answer to that.

Taxi for Lam. Final straw that. Players get no cover either. That was a pathetic and abject performance.

Lam needs to go after this season, literally nothing has happened in the last 2 seasons to justify keeping him on, chance at 3 trophies already gone, not beat saints once, not improved our attack, defence has got worse, signings poor. Goodbye

Our pack is not big enough or good enough. They talk a good game but they get bullied time and time again in big games.

People (including myself at times) have been saying this for years but we’ve managed to be successful in this period so it’s obviously not true.

He's had a week that is shocking by almost any standards.

On Tuesday, he purposely threw an important league game against our oldest rival, and today has turned out a team which right from the kick-off looked completely unprepared for the rigours of a Cup semi-final, not to mention a semi played in pouring rain.

That would be a stain on any coach's record, but for a coach struggling to convince everyone that he's the right man for the job, you have to consider that his time is now short.

That's two semi finals for Lam now, outplayed easily in both. Watson and Agar both put together a much better game plan for a big game than Lam has.

Something is wrong - mentally, play-offs last year this game we have no bottle in games that matter and just capitulate. Leeds have done the basics right and have a good kicking game - we have nothing in return to trouble them.

TL is the worst field kicker in Wigan history bar none (and that has been my opinion all along)..
