I really do wish every game was like this to get tickets for, it actually feels like a serious sport at times like this and this game now feels MASSIVE for both clubs.

Im afraid any non ST holders arent attending this one, looks as though we will only get a small amount sent over to us after the initial sale and they will also go to ST holders.

I'm sure Wigan fans could buy up Saints tickets in the side stands. All you have to do is register and away you go. If on general sale of course.

Well done and thank you to whoever first alerted this forum to tickets being available on line a few days ago from saints. Well worth £5 postage and 5 mins to register on their site.

done that and got 3 seats in north stand block h,i panicked bought when i could have got them from wigan

I've just rang the DW ticket office and paid for two adult tickets as they're expecting about 600 more tickets !!

They haven't arrived from Saints yet but they're taking phone orders as the tickets are due within the next hour so get your skates on...

Just ordered mine from Wigan, they have received 600 more Adult tickets but still have some of the Junior, student and +60 tickets left from the initial allocation.

I bet we'll have the best part of 4000 fans there on Good Friday.

Everyone raves about Saints stadium and I'm sure its very nice, but the small capacity means that lots of fans won't get to see the game live.

It would be too small for us clearly, but if Saints can sustain 10k+ season ticketholders going forward then it's going to be too small for them.

Just picked up nine tickets for the game. Should be a rather good atmosphere and we may even be heard on tv as saints dont seem to have mic's hanging down from the stands at Langtree Park ha

Maybe in future the club should follow the lead of many football clubs and have a priority sale, this means the ticket office record the away games and cup games for which you have bought tickets for and games like this and Cup semi's/finals would go on sale to people with the most loyalty points first.

For example for Good Friday it would go

Day 1

* ST holders that have recorded 10 or more away games from last season

Day 2

* ST holders with 6 or more away games from last season recorded

Day 3

*All ST holders

Day 4

*General Sale if any left.

Well after all the sulking i did yesterday..i managed to get a spare season ticket. so have just been down and got one

Got ours late yesterday afternoon from the Stadium. No queues by then but still plenty people buying! As others have said, I can't see there being many (any?) available for non ST holders.

I don't think they'll last very much longer full stop.Certainly adult ones.

think I have got 2 spare, bought from St Helens on Tuesday for East stand, and looks like they arrived yesterday as a post office card was on mat saying i have an envelope to collect from sorting office. I also got 2 from Wigan online yesterday

If anybody has got any spares they would be willing to sell it would be much appreciated. Dont mind paying whatever price. The current system buying tickets for away games should be done via a loyalty points scheme. I dont have a season ticket yet for the first time in years this season but attend nearly every game home and away.

Thing is though there are loyal fans who go to away games but pay on the gate or buy a ticket when they get there. Didn't you do that at Bradford? That wouldn't count, people would have to buy through the club so it wouldn't work.

I say leave it as it is. RL needs to allow the demand to grow.

Its only going to be an issue when we play Wigan and Wire though really other games are unlikely to sell out, certainly not as far in advance as this is likely to as no other clubs are going to want to bring the large numbers. For the sake of having more people at 2 games a season its hardly worth worrying the ground is to small.

If further down the line we are selling out regulary for most league games then it is something that would need to be looked at.

Where are all you guys sitting in the Saints bit? I want to buy tickets from them, but "safety in numbers" etc....

All the big clubs should have a minimum stadium capacity of 20,000 really. That way there a good size for internationals, semi-finals as well as coping with demand for big games such as this.

As a matter of interest to me, does anyone know how much more expensive it would have been for Saints to look at a 20k capacity? was it realistic?

I certainly think LP is nailed on as a CC semi final venue when Saints aren't involved, and there's two clubs on this side of the Pennines involved.
