However on another flip side to it... with Sam already getting the flag which was posted a few days back.. would it not be better to put someone else picture on there? I know that picture fits the flag really well.. and Sams style of play does too.. but maybe giving someone like Charnley or George a flag - who can both shift pretty sharpish would give the players more variety

Yeah I was initially looking for a picture of Charnley and just came across that one of Sam which I thought fit really well. I think a Charnley one would be better really though, especially after "that" try a couple of weeks ago.

The Edwards design which was for a 12ft x 6ft flag. Perhaps for a 2 stick flag the stars above him and the word below??

I reckon I could paint that! Think I'll give it a go next week, that sound ok?

edit: think I'll need a projector though as my printer has decided it doesn't want to print straight!

You would go down as a legend with Rogues Gallery and Parsifal that's for sure.

As good as Dave is at doing these flags, I think that deserves a place on the gantry next to Faz, Kenny, Boston, Ashton etc.

I think it should be a 12x6 and a peice of the south stand gantry.

Just my opinion though.

That was the original idea but it seems to have been shelved for other projects.

I'm up for that, problem is the material seems to come on rolls 112cm wide, I'd have to find some wider, would definitely need a projector for that though!

I've been using PhotoShop but the images just aren't coming out very clear. I'm tryin.g to work on a Maguire design but his face isn't recognisable when I convert the image to red/ white. I'm not overly concerned yet though, if we wi nothing this year the design is null and void

I agree, but will go with the majority. It has been in the planning stage for over 12 months now so let's just get it done.
