This is ridiculous, the basis of any good team is solid defence, watch the NRL games to see this, the most successful ones have a fair defensive structure similar to ours and are able to back this up with fast attacking play. Just because most of the teams in SL cant live with this style of play their fans, players, coaches and staff start moaning about it. Would you rather see p!ss poor tackling, defensive lines all over the place, games dominated by scooting from dummy half and matches finishing 50-40, cos I sure wouldnt.

Exactly. Maguire has brought an Australian style of RL to the Super League. Sadly we're so set in our ways that most fans and opposition coaches can't handle it and simply complain that it's 'cheating' to try and get it banned.

The disciplinary panel didn't see anything wrong with our team's tackling technique either. So are they only right when it suits your argument or have you just made a monumental fool of yourself? I think we both know the answer to that.

I didn't read all 8 pages so forgive me if I'm a liitle behind other posts.
Our tackling 'techniques' are legal and all clubs put 2, 3 or 4 men into a tackle. This involves twisting the upper body, legs etc any way to get the man down. What we saw your players do was try to screw our players' heads off and clothes-line them with head and neck shots deliberately aimed to injure.
Massive difference, but don't let facts get in the way of your pathetic trolling, will you.

And TBH i haven't seen this technique as i don't watch your games unless there on sky and all you see on sky is there backs, but as he has said so many players coaches and sports writers are complaing about it there has to be at least something in it.

no1 has actually ever provided any proper evidence to prove any of the accusations, non of the professions writers, coaches, and fans.
its all sour grapes, they cant handle the fact they are trying to bully us off the ball and they cant, they have to try and make an excuse for their pathetic attempts at hurting us saying it was in self defense and that we need investigating.

not fussed at wigans tactics in the tackle, we did exactly the same thing on sunday, played you at your own game, sad thing is many wigan fans on these boards and leaving the ground saw them as spoiling tactics instead of giving hull some credit
