I can't afford to go to Catalan but I am not suggesting that it should be played 'closer to the heartlands' so that I can attend.

And no-one is telling you to píss off to another sport because you cant go to catalan.

Thats a bit strong and uncalled for. The point I am making is that you chose not to go. That doesn't entitle you to suggest it should be cancelled for those who did go and enjoyed it, like I am not suggesting that the Catalan game should be played at Leigh so that I can go.

I think you need to read your post to him, it was you who started to be confrontational to him and when he gives it back you moan. He has an opinion. If he chooses to go to no match this year he is entitled to give it on every game, its the point of a forum.

MM for me, well.....

This was my first, did i enjoy it ? yes

Did i think it was fantastic and amazing ? not really

It just felt like a normal away fixture.

The home fixture we had with Featherstone last year (division below) had a better atmosphere.

You didn't go because it was cold in Feb? It was a warm sunny day and actually warmer than Murrayfield last May. What a fickle supporter if you only attend matches when its warm! So you won't be attending the WCC then as its in Feb and will be cold in Wigan?!

The atmosphere at the magic weekend depends on where you sit. I thought it was quality.

Im a season ticket holder and already with my ticket for the WCC as I live in Wigan its not so bad. Travelling all that way with 2 young kids in the cold isnt good is it? Think before you spout eh sunshine.

The distance is somewhat irrelevant. Does your car not have a heater? In this case the winter sun was warm as it happens.

Magic weekend is one of them things that is as good as you make it imo. If your looking for something to moan about all the time its not for you but if you just want to enjoy rugby with friends/family and a weekend away with a few drinks/food etc thrown in you will enjoy it imo.

You are becoming even more illogical. You are full of excuses and not reasons to attend away games.
