Great effort from Farrell and what a prospect he looks. We simply have to find a place for him in the 17 next season because he's too good not to.

When him and Tuson came into the side people worried about their size. I never really worried about Farrell because he's a stocky bloke but Tuson was more of a concern. They have both done exceptionally well but whereas Tuson seems to be running out of a little steam Farrell goes from strength to strength.

Farrell reminds me of Webcke. Not the biggest guy in the world but because of his stocky build/shape he is a tricky bloke to put down. His running lines, footwork are superb and he is good at spinning out of tackles.

58 tackles is a tremendous effort. He is a class act and people were trying to tell me he is not yet as good as Hansen. Open your eyes he is already another level above Hansen and will be in the 17 next year most weeks without a doubt before H.

Our second forwards next year as it stands.

11. Hoffman
12. Joel
13. Locky

14. Farrell
15. Hansen / Hock / Tuson / Mossop


Hoffman, Joel and Locky will have to be on top their game or their stating places will be snatched.

Farrell has settled into the first team like he's been in it for years and years but I wouldn't quite place him ahead of Hansen just yet. The Hansen of previous seasons maybe but he's come on leaps and bounds under Maguire and Wane and aswell as having a very strong defence is causing opposition teams all sorts of problems with ball in hand.

We've got an embarrassment of riches going into future seasons with our backrow options. I'm guessing at least 1 or 2 will have to be converted to front rowers if we're to keep them all happy. The money for that is obviously on guys like Mossop and eventually Hock but it wouldn't suprise me to see somebody like Hansen or even Farrell pushed up.

Only if the composer's body fat percentage was up to it.(Or down).
