Oh dear at this thread. What an earth Shatics have to do with the Wire vs Wigan match next week is beyond me. Wigan have more season tickets sold than Wire and a bigger average attendance, thus Wigan are the bigger club. Simple mathematics.

It will be great if it's a Wigan vs Wire grand final this year. Great for the sport and great for both clubs. Why we have to resort to sniping and bitching is beyond me.

Don't think anyone is underestimating Warrington, Saturday will just be another yard stick to see how far we have come, TBH Morley want a punishment for what he did, there is just no need for a player of his ability, not seen the Carvell incident. But Myler & Briers look to have hit the ground running. So it will be a intense game.

Yes they were abysmal in the second half. And wires made hard work of it against cas I agree. You can't be at the peak of your form every week and without getting out of second gear we had the measure of cas,and played the conditions very well. I tip we will be back at the top of our form next week,and your wait for your first win at our ground will continue a little longer.

You beat a VERY poor Quins in front of Jedward and a few others, you struggled against an average Castleford. Hardly impressive.

Saturday will be easy! Warrington have and will always be a small club living in Wigan's shadow. They win one trophy for years and all of a sudden they are world beaters!

Equally I could say that you have won nothing for years,have a new coach and two wins against poor opposition and suddenly you consider yourselves world beaters!

That's because the truth is, the game is to close to call. I'm looking forward to it and I'm sure both sets of real speccies (not the ones who shoot their mouths off) expect a real hard even contest.

I can't call it, but I hope Wigan just edge it in a really good game. Both teams need to put the pressure on Saints and Leeds for the good of the game.

Hull KR are a good outfit, whether you like to admit it or not, Dobson leads them around the park well and they have a good pack. Our line speed neutralised them on Friday, and our attack was good. The score line even shows that! We score more than 30 points and they scored 6. How many times did Hull KR get held to 6 points last year??

Crusaders are a poor outfit, they beat salford well by all accounts, but still not as good as Warrington, so I'll give you that, but seriously...who do you consider to be good opposition if not Hull KR?! Leeds?? Who else??

You definatly wern't good agianst Cas, without that briers interception, and Myler pouncing on that loose ball you might not have won at all!! You certainly got a bit lucky there!

Good opposition;Leeds,saints,wigan,hull FC,Huddersfield.
Average;Bradford,HKR,Wakefield,Castleford,catalan.
Abysmal;Salford,quins,crusaders.

Tbh I think we had the harder start really.

Celtic clearly gave us a better test than quins gave to wire, and Hull KR finished 4th last season, they are a top side, yet we completely dominated them in every area of the game. Warrington were lucky to win at Cas really.

I just can't wait for this saturday though, without doubt the biggest wire v Wigan league game for a long time. Should be a cracker!
