Has Whelan designed that himself, If I had been in charge of the design of that piece of crap I'd have been fired, but no doubt it was cheap so that probably swayed it.

I work in the bars at the stadium. The "WIGAN" on the East stand looks poor, the W and the A aren't symmetrical, and in the South Stand there are seats missing from the DW logo. I'd expect them to put them in before the Leeds match obviously.

The DW logos outside the stadium look poor too if you look carefully.

Indoors they havent changed anything, as its not due to be finished until the 1st August.

That looks awful, typical whelan doing it the cheapest way, he could have at least got new sign backs made up to get rid of the oval shape. Looks totally half d. I bet if that would have been any other premiership club they would have made whole new lettering up, anyway i bet some other premiership clubs will have a giggle at it.

I still think our badge/crest needs a new one as its been up there 10 years the officals at the club must see it every morning.

I'll design him one for free on paint as long as he rips that abomination down ASAP.

Threw it together in a couple of minutes, it actually makes some slight sense, with the colours of both clubs on there, side by side showing that they are equal within the town (Even though we all know we're superior

) and linked together to show that we can work together.

The DW on the outside and switch of lettering to black is frankly embarrasing, obviously it was much cheaper to merely update the existing signage, but what cost does DW put on professionalism and corporate image, it looks awful.

Will be interesting to see what the seats look like in person on Friday.
