This is a cr*p post and thread. Any one who's been deemed good enough to play even one game for Wigan shouldn't be slagged off on a Wigan forum. There are plenty of other forums who do that job week in week out. Doc Murray may not have been the right fit for Wigan but I'd venture to guess that he was a far better player than most people who slag him off.

Luke Davico.
To be fair to somebody like Dennis Moran he was a strike-play, attacking and try scoring scrum half signed to replace Adrian Lam who was arguably one of clubs finest ever organisational number 7's. The signing was not thought through from a Wigan perspective and it showed. He scored 18 tries in one and half seasons for us, which isn't that bad really. |

You'd think Wigan fans of all people wouldn't perpetrate that particular urban myth. For all Noble's fault about holding back youngsters, Sam played more than Smith that season before Smith got injured. |

True. A worse failing was in the 2008 season, when Sam scored 5 tries on debut and wasn't seen again that year. |
