they were having a good time the game was already in the bag and they waved they still concentrated on the game. if the referee is makin some of them decisions and the fact that it was very warm and theyve already two games then sometimes were goin to let try's in just lighten up a bit

Unbelievable.

I really think after seeing Lima today that his mobility levels for a prop will really benefit us during the dry months ahead. He may not make the barnstorming runs some expected, but his consistent hard working attitude is just what you need in these summer months ahead.

Mossop surely must be pushing for England spot against the Exiles.

Again Finch showed some lovely touches, but I really wish the players around him would anticipate the flat ball that Brett inevitably throws from time to time.

Lol reading some of the other posts it doesn't seem like I'm on my own regarding some miserable Wigan fans.

The game was in the bag and both players and fans enjoyed the occasion.

Exactly, but with Price on loan and Finch playing well, they do need something to complain about.

I think the drier months suit the Wigan pack, the fitness will carry them to wins against the bigger packs. Looking forward to a good Challenge cup run. Lima does look better with the sun on his back, he looked shattered when he left the field but was soon ready to go again

They got the tries because they finally started using the right hand side where it was easier for them to get in due to the size of Thomas for a winger. Simple oh and Witt or whichever it was that did the little dinking Sam style run.

I honestly can't believe some of our fans at times. Moaning because a player waved/responded to the crowd. And then blamed this for the reason we conceded. Only Wigan fans would do that..

He still picks out the wrong player too often for me, putting them into a tackle instead of through a gap (as Deacs does so well), though he's definitely improving. The more he plays, the better he'll get...it's a case of developing the same understanding with the others that he has with Hoff.

Finch played well but for some reason he never bothered to get back the full ten meters with the rest of his team. Finch was very consistant with his 9 meters, lol

Same for both teams, I was sat down the sides and 2-3 Crusaders players were well in front of the ref at any one time. On one occasion, one player was stood almost in front of Child.

There were plenty of players from both teams off side during the course of the game. I was commenting on the fact that Finch consistantly didn't bother to get back the ten, not because he was involved in a tackle or blowing so hard he couldn't get back, he just didn't bother, full stop.

They ran through the Wigan defence with gay abandon.

Gareth certainly did.

I personally don't mind the waving. For example at Quins last year. The boys, especially Fielden, looked knackered but the way we cheered them back to position after a try seemed to mentally revive them. The cheering also is good for fans who then have something more to cheer about.

However, the chants IMO should stop when the opposition are lining up the kick off. This is the time where the players need to be focused.

All in all the cheering is good. Keep it up!
