Kear is an amateur working in a professional game, sadly there are to many wigan hating amateurs left in the small band of RL media that will give "good old John" the oxygen of publicity.

The sooner Wakefield as a club and Kear as a person are out of SL the better.

He gets players fired up for big games, that is Kears talent...

I have never seen anything from any team he has coached to convince me he is good tactically as a coach.

Kear says something that upsets you, fine have a go at Kear but why drag the club into it. Fact is there are worse clubs in SL then us but the franchise criteria will be manipulated to ensure the RFL have who they want in SL.

Crusaders are probably the only one I would let go ahead of you. I think the administration at the start of the season has blown it for you.

If you judge on all facets of the criteria and not just expansion and Stadia, then we would also IMO be ahead of Quins and Salford

Quins yes, Salford - not sure.

IMO we stack up quite nicely against Salford

Fianances - Them if judged on the past regime (which I suppose it has to be ala Widnes)

Contribution on the field - Us (higher average place finish)

Junior Development - Us

Community Programme - Us

Marketing - Us

Stadiums - Them (but is it going to affect their crowds been outside of Salford)

Also bear in mind that we have won the same amount of games this season as Salford, who have spent alot more on their squad then we currently do.

Honest to god for such a big successful club you really have an inferiority complex.

Kears aim is to tell it as he sees it and if it upsets so be it. Is it personal, probably and so what, maybe you should be a little less precious.

One thing I'm absolutely certain about is that it had absolutely nothing to do with last years wins over us. I also doubt a single Wigan player ever gave it a second thought.

In fact if there is one Coach who is good at using negative comments to his own benefit it's Kear. But then Kear hasn't got a team of internationals so maybe you'd expect it to be of more use in those circumstances. If you lot are going to cry like babies because of a few Kear unflattering comments then I'm glad you don't support Wakey else you'd be suicidal, the amount of crass ill founded abuse we have to take. Come on, get over it and enjoy the game.

Because our Community Team is regarded as one of the best in SL and because since Glover came in, we have had an advert on regional ITV prime time for the Leeds game at home and a number of other initiatives regarding ticket sales and merchandise, which have helped boost our profile, membership and attendances at games that would have otherwise been relatively low crowds - eg Salford and Quins at home.

For the Leeds game you had 1,000 LESS fans than in 2010 and for the Warrington match you had 500 LESS which for a club like Wakefield is a huge percentage. Admitedly you did well with Quins and Salford.

But £20 per ticket is a bit steep no wonder crowds are put off. £20 to stand on a step - £20 which I will be paying tomorrow mind you.

The Leeds and Warrington attendances aren't that bad when you consider the fact with the squad we have and the -4 points start everyone expected us to struggle to get to 0 points and to get battered by these types of teams

Kear has proven himself as a good coach in the past of course. But to make comments as he has comes across as being bitter. I don't think that reflects well on him as a professional sports coach, do you? To claim that his team getting stuffed by a Wigan team playing with flair and aggression was like watching paint dry just sounds ridiculous coming from the head coach of a professional sports team, doesn't it?

Wakefield's crowds are up almost 9% ahead of tomorrow which ever way you look at it. But personally got to be honest, nothing against the club or supporters, but it is a terrible ground to visit and I won't miss it one bit. The ground and it's poor facilities should have been condemned years ago and I've no sympathy because Widnes have had their ground up to scratch for about 13 years now. Their isn't even anything outside the ground at Wakefield anymore and the fact you have to walk through a cemetery to reach it, perhaps sums the place up as a visiting supporter..

That would actually explain quite a lot.

To be fair to Wakefield though the toilets have improved! I remember going there a few years back and the toilet was a brick wall, with guttering on the floor with a hole in to drain the p!ss
