I would class it as revenge. The whole experience at Leeds left a bad taste in the mouth - Senior kicking out, Farrell sin bin, Peacock high tackles, abuse from the Leeds players, Bentham, paying top whack to be p---ed on for 2 hours.

I wouldnt call it revenge but a good performance and win this weekend will really kick start us even more I think especially after losing to Saints and Dire in our last 2 games with the big teams, although we did walk all over Hull.

Just two points please... Lets get back too being the arrogant bar$tewards all think we are, and just treat them as if they don't belong on the same pitch... Most of these teams would be dead or amalgamated if it was not for us carrying them along...

Generally Wigan need very little motivation to get up for a game against Leeds, but every little helps.

Smith's (and the rest of the Leeds players) celebration were typical of what you would expect to see after what had just occurred on the field of play in a sudden death, knock-out Cup competition.

Leeds once declared UTU on Bradford after a Challenge Cup Final defeat in 2000. That went particularly well as we lost the game 2-44 .... at Headingley.

Concentrate on not repeating your own disappointment at the final hooter/whistle rather than focussing on an understandable opposition reaction to the only try in a tight game. IIRC Coach Maguire's selections possible caused some of the fatigue that resulted in the Wigan players making a series of errors in the build up to the deciding score which Leeds did well to eventually capitalise on.

As usual I will probably miss most of this game due to spending a majority of the 80 minutes looking over my shoulder for incoming bog-brushes.

Doubt lee smith will play so Wigan might be getting flustered for nowt really.
