Have they only named 18 players?

I've just copied and pasted it from the Saints board. Only just noticed that when you mentioned it, Maybe they're waiting on Eastmond?

Even on the Saints official site only 18 are named, so i think Eastmond may play.

I'm still confident we will get the points this weekend although Saints can beat anyone on their day and BENTham will try his best to see us go down.

I wouldn't play Tuson. I'd go with Ben Davies and when he is propping, drop Coley back to Second Row. Bit more power I think.

Can Saints by only naming 18 bring Eastmond into the squad at a later date or not?

They could bring him in even if he isn't in the 19 I think. I'm sure they are only for guide these days rather than a strict system when it was 20 man squads then 18 man squads brought in when Millward was dropping all and sundry for easter monday games at Saints.

If Eastmond does take to the field will he be 100% fit? Would Saints risk him if he wasn't. I don't think he will be fit, if were he'd be in the squad already.

Eastmond is a big loss for Saints but they still have the skill and winning mentality in the squad to pose a threat, should be a cracker.

Squads pretty much pick themselves. O'Loughlin is a big loss; not just because he has been so good for us, but obviously with Hansen and Mossop still out, it leaves us short in the back row.

If we can match them in the middle of the field, then I see no reason why our backs can't help us to take the game comfortably with a dry field.

It's great to have that nerves/tension/excitement/can't wait feeling back again for derby day rather than the Oh God here comes another hammering feeling I've had for the last ten years.
