Speaking of this btw. Leeds v Warrington & Huddersfield v Wigan play on weekend of 14/15/16 may. Neither of them are on Sky. Salford v Saints and Bradford v Wakefield are obviously bigger clashes!

I totally agree, they parade Union games around like it is the best thing since sliced bread, yet league seems to get the scraps.

As for the Giants game at the weekend no Hodgson (again, 5th game this year), and no Lunt. Think if we can get 1 or 2 back and remember to shut up shop when/if we get in front we should be ok. (Fingers crossed

its right what fielden says , There were dire in the second half. We need to be right on top of our game this weekend. Am surprised tommy isnt back yet considering it was only a bruised foot

Regardless whether you think we should be able to manage with injuries, it plays a part, i think that for us to beat huddersfield, we need :

Tommy/Deacon, simply because they are specialised scrum halfs and have worked all the off-season and getting decent ball movement across the line, and lockers showed he hasnt got the speed in his passing or thinking, to even get close at playing a half decent game in the halves.

Gleeson gives us another option in attack, and potentially a better defensive centre than bailey.

Goulding as he is miles better than ainscough, and is rarely exploited under the high ball nor is he such a weak link in defence.

Imo thats the minimum we need back to give huddersfield a damn good run for there money.

Fielden should spend more time training and less time talking to papers about his team mates attitudes, he's hardly tearing teams apart himself. If we get Coley, Gleeson and Deacon back could field a team of:

That's not really too depleted, but I still can't see us turning over Harlequins after our last three performances. I've put Phelps at FB there because there isn't really anywhere else to put him but I really worry about him back there, last time we played Hudds they tore him to shreds.

Yup, Pryce, Marsh, Walker should all get in at centre ahead of him, no sense in playing one of our slowest players in the backs.

If we have to play a second row at centre, which I'm not convinced we do, JT would be a better option than Bails, IMO.

Yea a very, very tough game in my eyes. We did have a lot of players out last week against Quins but mostly I thought we missed Leulaui/Deacon. Don't get me wrong Sean O'Loughlin is a brilliant player this year but hes not a 7... So I think we would need them back and we did miss Gleeson and Goulding. But no excuses we was twenty something six up so they shouldn't of got back into it. First half team we are, I remember 2-3 seasons ago we only used to turn up in second half.

Don't forget its Huddersfield at Magic then Huddersfield away the week after do you think we can win both.

He is an absolute monster, we will miss him more than brett TBH but if Wild fit he can play 2nd row with Gilmour.

But I am not a Weeds fan so will not blame injuries, it is a squad game and the best team on the day will win.
