I'm expecting Wigan, Saints, HKR and Huddersfield to get through.

We've beaten Saints once, it should have been twice, and lost closely to HKR and Huddersfield, both games we could and probably should have won.
It is possible that that we could go on and win it.

Let's get over Friday first though.

If we get through Friday then it depends who we draw for the Semi if we draw Hull K.R. or Saints the H.J. is not big enough we would probably play Hull at Huddersfield if we draw Saints or Warrington then it would probably be the Reebok if we draw Huddersfield then it would possibly be Leeds.

What odds would you have got on that just 2 seasons back.

Then again Saints, Wire, Wigan and Giants looks like it has the makings of two great games as well.

I think regardless of results in the quarters, we will have the most open competition and most exciting semi finals for years.

Loving the cup this year.

On current form I don't expect us to reach the final and can't see us winning it what so ever.

Thing is though, pointless basing anything on Wigan's "form" as it varies wildly from week to week.

You have as good a chance as anyone IMO. I expect you to get past Salford and from there who knows?

There is no reason why we cannot win it nor is there any reason we will not get knocked out on Friday. Sadly its the position we find ourelves in at the moment.

It's got to a ridiculous situation where you're scared of winning because you know that your form will dip the next week.

I dont think they would use the reebok if we manage to beat salford because it would be 1/2 weeks from the start of season so they would want to protect the pitch if huddersfield i wouldnt be surprised if both semifinals would be held in huddersfield again.

if the semi is any combination of Saints / Wigan / Wire / Salford it would be daft to play it at Huddersfield. (therefore it will probably be at Huddersfield.)

Saints / Wigan is too big for the Halliwell Jones or the Autoquest Stadium, so would like to see it at the Reebok or City of Manchester. Same for Wigan / Wire.

Saints / Wire would be at the JJB.

Any game involving Salford could be at either of Warrington/Widnes.

This is the RFL so anything is possible.

In 2007 they were going to play the the Saints v Wigan game at the HJ if that was the draw.

There is no guarantee it won't happen again.

I would potentially be happy for it to be played at the Dave Whelan Stadium as long as safeguards were put in place to ensure that Wigan didnt get any unfair advantage (i.e. not being able to use the training facilities pre-game etc..) and the ticket allocations were equal.

Presuming the favourates win- Whichever of Wigan, HullKr, Saints match up will play at Huddersfield IMO.

Would think that Huddersfields semi will be at Doncaster if it is Vs HKR, or Leeds or Wire if its Vs Wigan or Stains.
