I'd like to see Hankinson instead of Sarge (simply because Sarge has been described as 50/50 due to a knock and I think the opportunity to get a bit of competition among our centres could have a positive outcome), and Paisley to keep his place in the back row ahead of Isa - but I suspect the team you mentioned is the one that will play.

No disrespect to Huddersfield but there's no reason for us not to win this game given the strength in that side. Another loss would be humiliation.

Couple of changes for me, Hankinson for Sarge if he is unfit, Tommy and Gabe to Start for Powell and Isa, Escare on bench to spell Tommy, Powell dropped altogether.

Wigan Warriors Head Coach Adrian Lam has named his 19-man squad to face Huddersfield Giants this Friday (K.O. 7:45pm).
The visitors will arrive at the DW Stadium with no wins from their first four games while the hosts have lost their last two Betfred Super League fixtures.
Speaking ahead of the game, Adrian Lam said “On video they’re playing well. They are probably an unfortunate team that could have had different results like us. We understand that they are also trying to get their performances up so that’s going to be a massive challenge for us.
“We’ve trained really well every week to be honest, but the results haven’t really reflected that. We’ve crossed a bridge this week and I think you’ll see a different mentality on Friday night.”
In injury news, Wigan this week welcome back winger Dom Manfredi, who has not made a competitive start for the Cherry and Whites since last October’s Grand Final. Ben Flower and Gabe Hamlin also return to the 19-man squad.
Joe Burgess is still on the comeback trail from a knee injury (ACL) sustained in April 2018, but Lam has eluded to his return in the next couple of weeks. Joe Greenwood again misses out due to concussion.

Disappointed to see Sammut dropped, although I didn’t see the London game, Leaulai as our main kicking option just doesn’t work.

I’d give Sarge the week off to get over his injury. Give Hankinson a go, gildart back on the left, probably gives us more balance.

Shaun Wane used to use similar, he always said "we've trained really well this week" He used to always say when we lost " we didn't play the way we trained" and it didn't go to bad for him did it.

Wane isn't Lam.

I wouldn’t have Escare in the side at all this week. Whether he’s a winger or not, he absolutely bombed the easiest chance to score you’ll see, and to make it worse Dixon picked up the ball and ran the whole length to score.

Yet Gildart needs an arm around his shoulders after the WCC. Go figure.

Escare to come on after 60 mins in a Rob Burrows role, only uses one interchange.

I don't see the sense in playing Sammut for one game then dropping him. It's not as if the alternatives are amazing. Give him a decent run to settle in, or don't bother at all.

Maybe he's been 'punished' for defensive failure leading to one of London's tries, like Escaré?

Seriously, who knows what Lam is thinking?

Hudds are bottom of the league and have all sorts of injuries.
We should win this by some decent margin which would give us confidence for our visit to Wire.
