Fact of the matter is wigan hudds warrington and leeds are all very evenly matched (ignoring the semantics of their position in the top 4 which is down to various circumstances - injuries, form, inconsistent reffing decisions) and in a play off environment it will be anybodys game. Between now and october it's really about making sure you get the best 17 as fit as possible and you get into the right mentality and structures for the playoffs.

I wondered who'd be the first to come out with a comment like that. Soundly beaten, yes. Disgrace is simply out of order. You obviously have no appreciation what these blokes put themselves through just to get on a rugby pitch. 4 days after the most intense game of the season, a fair number of injuries, a half back who hasn't played for a couple of months and an ex RU player who has never played a competitive game of RL before it was always going to be a tough match.

There is no doubt there are many things we could have done better, disgrace implies lack of effort. No team coached by Wane can fairly be accused of that.

What I've noticed this season is it is the Yorkshire sides who we can't perform well against, Wakefield outplayed us with 12 men at times at DW and away were unlucky not to win. Hudds and Leeds both beat us away and yet to play at DW hopefully we turn it around by then. Chase best out there tonight ran the game for them.

Was told castle ford wouldn't agree to play Sunday so we had to stick with friday ,as its our home night

We looked knackered, credit to cas that's the best I've seen them play - although why they had a group picture with their fans in the background at the end of the match ill never know? Made them look like an amateur team coming over and playing in the biggest game of their career, surely it can't have been that big of a deal?

Blake Green and Pat Richards were just awful worst game I've ever seen from both of them. Thought Powell had a decent debut, roll on next week.

A la Warrington? We are away to Bradford who play their home games on a Sunday. You were the home team tonight who pay your home games on a Friday because Whelan tells you to during the football season.

Fair play to Cas tonight, they took it to us and wanted it more. They respected the ball more, ran harder, tackled harder and played the conditions better.

We looked a bit of a rabble but with all the changed over the past few weeks it's understandable. We'll be ok, we just need to ride through this period and get everyone fit.

I would have thought that with the galaxy of youngsters that wigan have they could have come up with a better performance than that.Come back Jack Murphy all is forgiven.
