Just got back from City Centre Manchester and all the Stobart trucks with the SL players on where just on the Mancunian way heading up to the Etihad, and might i say a pretty impressive sight it is when all together like they where

I know the concept itself is much maligned, but its got the makings of a fantastic festival of Rugby League this weekend, The build up, The weather,the superb stadium, and i hope some superb entertainment.

I must admit seeing the trucks today with the players and game plastered all over them gave me a bit of buzz and i cant wait for the games to start.

Credit to Stobart and i know its pretty much standard practice to keep there trucks clean, but the Truck with Sam on it was, gleaming and of course was in front leading the way ! i hope that remains the same come 7.30ish Sunday night.

It's also Stobart Fest 2012 at the Etihed this weekend. According to the Stobart website 24 Trucks will be at the Stadium at the Weekend with last years event attracting over 7,000 Spotters! With the SoccerAid match at Old Trafford on Sunday as well, it's going to be one busy Manchester!

I'm hoping that this event is going to be a huge success. The RFL seemed to get it right with the game at Wembley in the 4 Nations and I'm hoping this event has the same buzz about it.

They couldn't have asked for a better weekend for it, the weather should turn it into a great couple of days advertising for the sport.

All it needs is some fantastic tries, the 3 big games making compelling viewing, and a shock result as Widnes win

Yes you can buy tickets on the door the mcfc ticket office is open both days and fans can have thier picture took with the Grand Final trophy in the city store at the stadium.

Ive found out i can order online a pickup on the day, what section are wigan in on the reserved?

I've got a reserved ticket for the Sunday, and that says East Stand Level 2, Turnstile C, Block 242.

I drive past the Etihad on my way to work each day, saw the trucks there on the way back home today. Didn't see the one with Sam but the traffic was moving too quick for me to spot it!

I am in Block 237 which is behind the sticks. I missed out getting reserved tickets first time round and bought these tickets from Wigan on Wednesday which must have been when they received a 2nd batch.

Have a feeling I'll be sat on my own though!

Not exactly legal if they're touts I know but if there's any chance, I'll consider showing up tomorrow & trying to buy some last minute.

Just been talking to my neighbour and he rang RFL ticket line up yesterday and got told that only THREE unreserved tickets were available for Sunday.

I'm going tomorrow, but I still don't understand how we have to face Saints every year and Warrington get a bye.

After watching Ratchford ghost through the defence from dummy half I'd go as far to say that the RFL should call time on this game and refund 1/3 of everyone's money.

me and you are watching a different game. I think he's defence has been very solid and he has no chance to do anything in attack playing for widnes.

also he chased ratchford back when he broke free so i wouldn't say hes slow.

I was told he was in the same mold at Sam Tomkins. All I've seen him to is get rid of the ball as quickly as possible.

That said I'll be honest. I haven't watched much of the second half - watching the cricket instead because it's a ing farce.
