According to the website just under 15k sold in wigan ends. While leeds wont bring a great deal, you'd expect at least 1k from Leeds, which puts us just under 16k at the moment. Could end up with 18-19k if its a nice night and we get a decent walk up.

Leeds away support has always been embarrassing compared to their home crowds and I'd expect their lowest turn out in a long time on Friday. I'd guess as low as 500.

I'd expect a crowd of around 16500 for this one.

I'm not expecting to be held up on the M62 on Friday night because of more vehicles than normal heading West from Leeds.

You can use your scrum ticket at any Super League game except Saints (which has already gone).

Wigan should remove the North Stand roof.

If there was bog brushes then surely they would have been brought all the way from Leeds and there would be no other explaination for it.

It is a shame that Leeds bring such poor support though. We always take good support to them.

Anyone like to tell me how exactly the scrum tickets work? Would I still be able to sit in my season ticket seat, or would I have to move and sit with the people I get tickets for?

You can still use your season ticket and then you get 6 tickets for £30 as well. Very good deal.

Yep. I used mine earlier in the season, I have an East stand season ticket n then got 6 tickets for friends/family.

i seriously doubt you wil get 6 together in a decent spot in the East at this stage........i struggled to get 2 together weeks ago........26th of may to be precise.........look on the interactive map.
And no way will they let your "guests have seats near you if they are already taken.

I'm right next to the dug-out, there's a fair few empty seats further down the row and infront on the first two rows but I'm not that fussed whether they're near me, just as long as I keep my seat. I think this may be irrelevant though, as I think I may have thrown my 'scrum ticket' away

Just 2862 left in the Wigan ends (incl 170 for the South) which is a great effort so far. By my math thats around 16K + the prawn butty brigade.
I for one can't wait for this game, Im sure there'll be some biff during the 80 minutes somewhere....

Me and three other Leythers went to the big one V Leeds a few years back, when they were good and Leigh fans outnumbered them that day, and it was only a dead brazilian for a ticket too.

Wouldn't go that far, they brought about 2k that day which wasn't so bad I guess considering most followings in super league are poor.

The turn out for the play-off game at our place was one of the worst I have seen.

Anyway, E-Ticketing suggest about 16k sold... if you add on the prawn sandwich brigade it is probably around 16,500. That is fantastic the day before the game with two full days of selling left plus the walk up crowd with the away fans on top of that. 17-18k easily for this game.

This totally backs up the clubs decision to use Hudds for the big one 3. I had fears that we wouldn't get a big enough crowd to make it feel like a 'big' game but we did.

Had the club chosen Leeds we would have got 20k but only our usual 13k ish for the Hudds game. Instead we got 19k for the Hudds game and are likely to get around 17-18k for the Leeds game. That works out at 4,000 extra fans through the gates than we would have got.
