Definataley didn't deserve mom tonight, and his greed is getting beyond a joke now - We'd of put a lot more points on the board tonight had he passed...

totally agree! he plays for himself so he can go and say guess how many tries i scored! not how many they scored as a team! he didnt deserve man of the match at all!

Yes there were a couple of times where he COULD have passed and it MAY have created more but crickey, he's our strike player and take any 'greed' out of his game and he's a lesser player for me.
One week he needs to be given more ball and the next he has it too much.

The people around me moaning and groaning when he didn't pass the ball made me laugh. He's a rare talent that plays on the edge and comes up with individual brilliance most players could only dream off so yeah he's going to get caught in possession now and again.

No wonder he thought he could take the line on at every opportunity against that opposition tonight. They were truely awful and i'd have expected Jerry Seu Seu in his pomp to have backed himself to destroy them one on one with abit of footwork and pace.

I thought most of the things he did were superb as usual. So what if he didnt pass a couple of times? He does when it matters, and thats all that matters. He is a fantastic player and I wouldnt swap him for any other Rugby League player in the world.

Far too ball greedy no matter who the opposition are.

Sam is an amazing talent, love having him in the side - But I don't get why you would choose to go alone when you've got an overlap - Never mind 'could' pass, those are times when you 'should' pass... 

disagree, you want your better players with ball in hand. When he could have passed to Richards he [u chose[/u to take the tackle as he ran at the full back not around him as it was the first tackle. People calling him need to wake us as hes a full back not a half back now.

Our best strike player in years .. but people moan about him all match.

Its going to drive him away people - Sam gets us out of the so many times, trust his decision making. It usually pays off when needed.

Sam going himself is a small price to pay for his talent, he will learn with experience that sometimes he needs to release the ball, Im sure players like Pat wont let it go quietly when he bombs a chance through "greed".

He took the right option when he choose not to pass to Richards imo because Pat was covered and would have been tackled as he took the pass. He backed himself and tried to use Richards as a decoy but it didn't quite work out.

These things happen.

Stop moaning about Tomkins, his greed often creates things for us. I will only moan if his greed ever costs us a game.

I am more concerned about the moaning about Karl Pryce... he is on loan playing for the other team trying to better himself and I heard boos the first time he got the ball and the guy infront of me took it upon himself to give Pryce a load of stick.

So did i, but this wasnt a surprise, our fans are a joke!

I do hate our fans sometimes. I was ashamed tonight.

The same ones who booed Pryce are probably the ones that clapped Catalans the other week and the same who happy clap anybody not perceived to be a threat onto the field each week.

I don't think he was MoM though. The player who impressed me the most as McIllorum. I thought he was outstanding early on.

Me too. Several were calling him around me. He's exciting with the ball in hand. People would moan if he didn't take the line on. No player is ever going to go through a match without getting tackled. He creates and scores tries. I don't see what the problem is.

Personally, I wouldn't change him for the world. His plusses far outweigh his weaknesses and the last thing I'd want is to put an element of doubt into what is a very confident player. Some of the whinges and cries from our speccies were embarrassing.

I was on about this earlier. WHY do the fans applaud the likes of Quins, Crusaders and Catalans?? The fact that they only bring a few fans is not a good enough excuse.

Lets say the saints fans might get banned for a game for some incident (i know this will never happen) BUT would saints get clapped on? NO..... so no other team should get that!

Shock horror a young player with 2.5 years in SL makes a wrong decision.

Some of our fans need to get a grip or just stop comming to games.

His decision making will improve with time and for now at FB he'll develop his game and in a few years he'll step back to HB much like Lockyer did.

The Saints players though don't travel week after week and play in front of little or no support. To keep going like the Quins players did last night given the scoreline before they scored and the lack of appreciation they got for a well worked score, deserved a clap from me.
