What a player. Drove us forward in the last 15. Left Senior for dead twice. Just think some clown on here this week was suggesting that either he or Joel would miss out when we have a fully fit squad.

He’s certainly the best player to have come through this Wigan academy recently. I’ve always been impressed by him every time he plays.

Agreed his line running is second to none in that team, consistently hitting gaps and has enough pace to make 30-40 yards. One of the first names on the teamsheet for mine.

He has been close to the best and most consistent player in the team for a while now, besides Lockers and Pat he has next on the list for the team sheet for me.

Farrell was my MOM tonight.

Sam Tomkins is the first name on the team sheet.

He's a class act who has more to his game than sheer strength.

Obviously that goes without saying..

he is an excellent player. Real workhorse.... genuine talent.

Good allrounder. Mick Potter or Mick Cassidy with flair and pace.

People get excited about sam tomkins but for me farrell is up there with him! England beckons!

Farrell was by far the MoM tonight, it only went to buderus as sky/whoever were pandering to Leeds. Farrell saved that game for us tonight.

I've said since he came into the side that in his own way his impact has been very bit as impressive as Sam's was when he first came through. I've honestly never seen a player come into a side and look as comfortable as this lad looks. He's a quiet achiever and he leads by example. He works his socks off in defence and attack and has a knack for ghosting through gaps in possesion and you wonder how he's doing it. He reminds me off a forward version of Mick Withers in the way he walks through gaps.

When we have everybody fit he'd be in my starting 13 in the second row alongisde Hoffman.

Buderus ripped us apart IMO and was the best player on the park.

His decision making and speed of thought at dummy half was phenomenal.

I thought he was excellent for you guys last night.

He has a very mature way of playing the game. That was displayed lastn ight when he made the break. Ok, he didnt have much in the way of support, but many people in that situation would have tried looking for a rushed offload, but he didnt, he took his time, took the tackle, and it gained Wigan important yards, which lead to the Tomkins brilliance.

he was my Man of the match as well. Thought he was terrific tonight. Great player

Do any of you lot know anything about rugby lockers at 6 is a joke he is a good cover player but not a 6 in a million years nor is tomkins a 1 I'm sick of MCguire playing people out of position

There were times last night when he looked like the "other" Faz! No greater praise can be given.

it really is a tough one isn't it - Lockers/Faz at loose.
surely Faz is wasted at 2nd row yet, for me, you cant even consider leaving Lockers out at any point...

and he cant continue to play at 6. we need stability there so as to allow partnerships to form.
Lockers does a job but we'll be far, far better off with a 'formed' 6 & 7 partnership over a run of games

one name comes to mind.........mike cassidy.
but with a better attacking game

Think Faz will be Lockers long term replacement at 13. He's hardly rubbish at second row though and I'm happy for him to stay there if it keeps him in the team. Should be in the running for the England Elite squad too

Farrell played a huge part in the comeback. Sams try would not have happened it wasn't for Faz.

We were struggling in our own half and he heard the ref shout that someone was offside so he ran at him and went through the gap, he got us in the position.

Quallity player, I would honestly put him on a par with Tomkins but obviously Sam gets more credit for doing the fancy stuff.

I thought that Geoff. One fine young player we have there.
