He was always going to be up to the beak for that incident. He's got a good case to argue though.

i think kevin brown is quite lucky although is wasnt a "trip" it was still a very deliberate take out of a player and i think should of been classed as serious foul play

I don't think he will/should be banned but it was retaliation and not defence.

A warning for Stuart Fielden should be sufficient. A ban would be extremely harsh.

Keith Mason though should not play again this season. It was a blatant stamp and was very dangerous. That type of play has no part in our game.

The 10 min sin bin should be sufficient. Mason should be banned for the remaining fixtures. There is not placed in this sport for actions like that.

I think the whole incident was badly handled.

SF was defending himself. What is he supposed to do? Stand there and let himself be beaten up?

Time after time we see "both" parties being given 10 mins in incidents like this, never just the aggressor.

i said at half time after seeing it on the replays downstairs that he would be in trouble for that, wasn't the cleverest thing to do considering he's only just come back into the team !!

Would have just been handbags and then get on with the game, until Mason came charging in (and then hiding). That was what kicked off the all-in brawl. That is always taken a dim view of.

mason should of been sent off and fielden should recieve a ban for fighting this it isnt a boxing match we ask all fans to behave themselves yet condone it on the pitch, fact is fielden was fighting,and thats not the sport.

I liked the way big stu went for mason even after the fight had been split up, and then again when they where both going off the pitch. I wonder what waney and madge said to him down the headset.

Well will the RFL be consistent we shall soon find out, think it was appalling what Mason did and could have caused injury, think if someone stood on my foot like that i would retaliate.

If you watch the close-up replay (the one they show just before Mason is yellow-carded), Mason actually stands on Fielden's foot to stand up, before stamping on his other leg/ankle as he jogs away.

Honestly, anyone who doesn't see that as the dirty, cynical and deliberate act it is, is a complete moron.
