It's a nice position to be in, knowing that a win this week pretty much sets us up for what's left of the season. I really can't see us losing 3 games between now and the end of the year, and Wire will do very, very well to match our record.

I think you'll win it. I'm not trying to get my defence in early but you are clearly the best team in the league at the moment. We might win it - it wouldn't be a shock result either way - but we are having a slight dip, I think, before we re-intensify for the cup and play offs (that's my hope anyway). We have rested players over the last couple of weeks though (Morley, Harrison, Briers) which could help us.

Wigan don't have to win the game to finish top. Warrington do.
We only need one more win for a top two finish. Should Wire lose against Wigan and Saints they could be fighting for second place.

From a personal, Warrington point of view, second is my preference. It keeps the attention on Wigan and ourselves slightly off the radar whilst still retaing a home playoff position.

It virtually guarantees a win at Leeds because they will have one eye on the following week's cup semi-final. Had we beaten Leeds in the cup we would lose there in the league.

We should wrap it up ASAP so some of the injured players can play themselves in during the last few games of the season. Theres a couple of players who will need as much time on the field as possible so they are up to speed for the playoffs.

Completely agree, thats not too say that we will want to take the foot of the gas in the remaining games.

I think we'll win the league, subconsciously slacken off, we'll go into the first playoff game with the wrong mindset, lose the game and home advantage for the final eliminator, and thus lose the Championship.
