| We have seen from the last few weeks our guys get sin binned and others just told off. This was the case at Huddersfield and also today. Peacock could commit anything and as he is who he is always gets away with it, same with Senior, we lose a man and he carries on after kicking his head.
As we are out of the cup I just hope we can get get impartial decisions (although difficult with Cummings in charge).
My tactics now would be to do what we did at the start of the season and really get stuck into them i.e. SMASH THEM and play rugby, we were the only ones today that tried to play as Leeds had no way of getting forward unless they got a penalty. We made some stupid attacking errors but at least we went for them.
I just hope the atmosphere at the DW is intense and we get into anybody who opposes us as we will not get any help from the officials.
I may be wrong and no doubt many will tell me so but after 10/12 rounds our penalty count was low as was our yellow cards but look what has happened in the last few rounds (is this since the Sky """"""""experts""""""" (excluding Paul Cullen) decided that they didn't like us being top of the league and we should not be allowed to tackle.
My wife is very upset she can't take losing and is in bed, but I played sport for 25 years or so and it happens. My issue is too many matches are decided by officials and I don't necessarily mean today, it is not the big decisions but those that change the flow of the game. The comments of commentators who today were biased towards Leeds which surprised me especially as supposedly we were the only ones doing forward passes according to Dave Woods and John Kear. John just wanted to put on a Blue and Yellow shirt. I of course remember how he left Wigan under a cloud but is it Wigan or Wakefield that he would rather be and how he could say Woods had a red and white shirt on just shows the white rose attitude. That is why the "Loyal Toast for Lancashire is "The Queen The Duke of Lancaster" and this will remain until a male heir reigns.
I just want objective reporting but this will never happen as long as Red Hall is the base, I would suggest to anyone in the area to try to visit this establishment, it is only slightly less accessible than Downing Street.
I send very few of these but know from ex colleagues the unease with the draw process, can anyone tell me when Wigan were last drawn at home against Leeds or Saints in the Challenge Cup and how many times since they have been drawn away. It is called the "hot ball syndrome"?

Excuses, excuses. If your players didn't lie on the tackled player for so long with your delaying tactics then Senior wouldn't have had to kick out and cop Tomkins in the head.

Go on then, do tell me what's so stupid about it? You're team was lying on, Senior then got frustrated because he was trying to get up and play the ball. He then started kicking out probably to get the ref to give him a penalty for the lying on, in the act he caught Tomkins in the head accidentally. End of.

Take this from a "wire" fan then. The kickout was wrong and was penalised. It wasnt deliberate contact and hence why no further action necessary. Counted Sam Tomkins doing the same thing on 3 or 4 occasions but as he didnt make contact with anything (other than the back of his own players head...lol) than no further comment has been made of it.
As far as "smashing 'em", I think that Nat brown called for his players to do the same thing....result.... they have got their s kicked every game since.!

Accidentally ? Oh so that's alright then ! I am sure Joel Tomkins will feel much better tomorrow, when he wakes up with a bruised head.
It is what is called 'dangerous play' in the rules. Have you never played the game ?

Played the game for a good 8 or 9 years.
If he'd looked at him and punted him in the head then sure, fine, send him to the sin bin, but because O'Loughlin was lying all over him obstructing his view, he was just flailing and ACCIDENTALLY caught Tomkins in the head, hence the penalty, because it was an ACCIDENT.

Lets say 5ft tall considering he was hunched in the process of getting up, but yes, it was O'loughlins fault, if O'loughlin wasn't on Senior, then he would have been up and playing the ball as opposed to kicking out trying to get up.

Kicking out is Illegal. End of.
Most players when trying to get a penalty when being lied on just try to get up to make a point, not lash their legs out 6 feet in the air and end up kicking someone in the face, if you think otherwise then your as stupid as senior is

I think the RFL might take a different view this week.
Also, you can't really know the rules can you as you write this;
[i"If he'd looked at him and punted him in the head then sure, fine, send him to the sin bin".[/i
Not a red card ?

Of course it'd be a red card, I was just saying sin bin for the sake of it cause that's what we were debating over.
Really? I don't think they will. It was quite clearly an accident. He was penalized, end of. No other action will come of it IMO.

| referees in SL in this day an age need to be more professional. To much inconsistent in the game. For me the refs spoil a decent game,as for the touch judge's well you may aswell not bother.

A couple of points
1. The penalty count with ten or so minutes to go in the game was even, don't know what it was at full time but I'd guess it was still evens - it was high I will grant you that, but both teams were penalised equally - you may have missed the ones that gifted you all of your points.
2. I too like to see teams play hard but fair and if your team have genuinely dropped off that standard in recent weeks then they should do something about it, but please rid yourself of the belief that anything that is mentioned on the Sky Sports commentary is rushed to Red Hall and written into law, for it is not, if it were so then your team would already be the possessors of a Grand Final ring each - Phil Clarke would have made it so.
I do hope that it was just beer that was feeding your paranoia last night...

Didn't Nathan say that after Lockers "accidently" knocked out Robinson but stayed on the pitch at Murryfield. What about that dangerous tackle on Clinton in Wrexham last week? Just waiting for somebody on here to blame Noble for Wigan slow start and lack of fitness. Leeds nicked it, end off. Felt sorry for Pat Richards, he didn't deserve that result.
