No real suprises just Feka and Bailey dropped out the 13 and Joel Tomkins and Coley in...

The timing makes me think the new shirts will be going on sale for that launch night of the new shop on Thursday.

No surprises apart from Bailey which is understandable.

A bit surprised not to see Iain Thornley's name on there.

Would have liked to see Holland in there.

Suprised Bailey has dropped down from the first 13 but glad that we have a first choice back 3(going solely off squad numbers) thats come through our youth teams.

Also really pleased to see Phelps given the no1 shirt. It's no suprise but pleasing all the same. He settled into that spot superbly well last year and improved week by week. I'm looking forward to watching him progress even further next season.

I've colour coded the players for my reference

=redRED: Scapegoats. No matter how well they play or even if they don't play, all loses will be attributed to these.
=greenGREEN: Once we lose a game it will be based on this person being down King Street before/after/during a game.
=blueBLUE: Immune from any sort of critisism from anyone except Warrington fans.
=orangeORANGE: Immune from any sort of critisism what so ever

Im looking forward to seeing how Eamon goes on he started the year of great last season lets hope he can carry it on in 2010.

Think you can add Carmont and Phelps to the immune list, Deacon will end up being a scapegoat too, purely because he's not as good as Tomkins

You missed out highlighting Number 18 as a bunch of moaning owd gits!

That's a squad with 23 players who have first team experience plus eight to make their debut. No doubt those eight will be training with the first team full time.
That's a large squad and Maguire infers numbers will not mean a lot it will be down to form and performance.
His squad selections for each game will be worth waiting for as he will be giving younger players their opportunity in the first team.

Carmont, yes but Phelps still gets criticised.

He's still very overrated, he'll get found out this year if he doesn't sort his defence out.

Squad numbers don't tell us much with MaGuire in charge now. They will count for very little I would imagine. It is very pleasing to see so many homegrown/trained players in the squad. 20/31 is a fantastic effort.
