I have just been to the Dw ticket office and they have no adult tickets left. They say you have to pay on the day now. So I'm letting you all know to save a wasted journey like I've just had.

I was expecting a bumper crowd then, but we've just sent the excess back

The lady in the ticket office said they had not been sent back but were sold out. I have rung the Wrexham ticket office direct and still only had to pay £15 instead of £20 which is was it will be on the day.

Are you picking them tickets up on the day from the Wrexham ticket office?

When I payed for my tickets she told me I can just collect them from the ticket office on the day.She also let me reserve two kids tickets for exchange on the day rather than chancing it on the day and finding it full.

They can be ordered through Crusaders website to collect on Sunday too for anybody else trying to buy tickets.

According to Bilkos guide you cant pay on the turnstile, you still have to get a ticket from the ticket office.

That was a guide from last year and that indeed was what they enforced. No idea really if thats still the case or not.

Last year you had to swop your kids vouchers at the office, this year we didn't so that might lessen the queues quite a bit

Is this definitely true? Can my daughter just use her "Away ticket voucher" to get into the ground direct or will we have to go to the ticket office first and exchange it for a match ticket?

I feel so much better having paid £22 for my ticket AND the coach
£20 to get in... They know how to really entice people in!

Last year was one of the easiest away-day ticket purchases I encountered all season... there was a small tent next to the club shop selling tickets with next to no queue, and I don't remember being there all that early either because I got heavily delayed on the train. Did I find a secret outlet?

Tickets from £15 early in the week treated myself to executive seating £27.50, dont fancy sitting in the shed of a stand they have for away fans

Nothing wrong with the away stand. The small hole in the roof won't trouble you tomorrow.

Though the away stand did run out of beer last year!


You should have thrown caution to the wind and spent £35 and dined in style, sat in executive seating, complete with programme, team sheet and half time coffee and biscuits and pass for the car park thrown in.

Its the running out of beer thats a worry and the posts you have to avoid. I phoned the club and asked do they have a clothing policy for the exec seating and she replied "yes you have to wear clothes" anything goes and no problem wearing a Wigan shirt

Are you in the yale or mold road stand? If it's the latter you'll be near our drummer, ha ha

What's the crack with some of these clubs within this league that have a two-tier charging system?
£15 in advance but £20 on the day....why??

Wigan don't send tickets to other clubs charging them one price then on the day charging them a bit more to pay on the gate, I think it's wrong.

Apart from Wigan and Catalans, do you know any other super league club where you can get a seat for £15? £20 pound to stand on a terrace at Leeds, how much to sit on the golf stand at Craven Park?

The problem is....I can't.

Today was the first time I could get to the ticket office, only to be told on here they had sold out (why we have only been allocated 1,500 I don't know).

It's great that a ticket is £15, but why then put it up a fiver for the same seat / match?
