| i didnt go last night, but all night Eddie was banging on about the young player of the year.
he mentioned Owen, Westerman, Sam T. and said there were a host of other contenders.
so who do you reckon will get it? and heres why ive included MOS in thread.
i reckon its going to be someone from the dream team , and IMO it should go to SAM T., but it'll prob go to either Peacock or Senior.
if thats the case Sams nailed on for YPOY imo.
thoughts?
*apologies if its old ground*.

| Sam is nailed on for YPOTY, no one comes close IMO.
MOS will be Brett Hodgeson by the looks of things.

| The Man of Stell has to be one of Hodgson, Graham or Morley because they are the 3 on the shorlist. I believe Hodgson should and probably will get it but it wouldn't suprise me if Morley won it due to them having a liking for the Brits(harder to rig it now though with the players voting for it).
Young player will go to Sam Tomkins without question.

| MoS is down to one of:
Brett Hodgson
James Graham
Adrian Morley
For young player, I honestly cannot see ANYONE who is even close to STomkins

| i think hodgson should get it but whats to stop the whole ' we dont want an aussie to get it ' shambles that happened with Trent. I can quite easily see the RFL give it to Morley. A British ambassador of the game thats conquered the sport on both sides of the world. Im not saying he doesn't deserve it but Hodgson for me should be the player to get it. Sam for young player by a country mile.

| For me Morley should be MOS and the fact it's now the players who vote may well work in his favour.
Sam T for YPOY.
Nathan Brown as Coach of the Year!

| Well if Ryan Hall isn't too old he should win it. If not Tomkins by a mile.
MOS should be Morley. Hodgson (the semi final apart) has been pretty gash in the big games.

Close call this year all three would be worthy winners so I'll go for James Roby to sneak it at the last minute

| Adrian Morley leads his Warrington troops to 10th place with great back up from the likes of Gareth Carvell, Paul Wood, Mike Cooper and Paul Rauhihi (a guy who couldent even get into there 17) and most people think his nailed on for MOS.
While James Graham has absolutely crawled thru sh*te to get Saints into second spot and a CC semi. With no back up from the only other quality prop at Saints (Cayless) and a number of injuries to Maurie. Raking up a awesome amount of metres in one season and setting up many breaks for Saints with his fantastic offload.
There is no way in hell that Morley as had a more inflentual season than James Graham. We wouldent of made the top 6 without him.

Graham for me too...although whether he'll get it or not is a completely different issue.

Lunt was Huddersfield's best player, but Hodgson (B) wasn't far behind.

| Brett Hodgson for Man Of Steel and Sam Tomkins for Young Player IMO. Had Miller not been absent for the end of the season it wouldnt have suprised me had he won the award, rightly or wrongly with all the raving that Eddie and Stevo do about him. IMO sam deserves the award though!
