| I fully understand where he’s coming from. But will all season ticket holders be in agreement when the options arrive?

| People will make their own choices based on their own situations. I personally will not take any refund or offer to credit my ticket account (something Latics fans have been offered) but for the time being I’m in work and have been working at home throughout. Other people’s circumstances will be different and any refunds would be welcome.
Worrying times really. The club hasn’t been in great financial shape anyway and this will obviously hurt. We talk about signings in the rumours threads as a group of fans but the cold reality may be that we have to shed all the off contract players and run with what’s left.

| I won’t be asking for a refund either but as you say, a refund for some people at this moment in time might be something they just can’t afford to ignore.

| So hard for the club or any business to plan ahead amidst the uncertainty. Businesses and clubs will be going lean and mean in the immediate term. I am sure we will be no exception.
Honest question, what is the best way to support the club financially right now? I don't have a season ticket for various reasons but I'd sell my Mrs to keep the club afloat if we were in trouble. At the minute is it buying merch? Do we think there will be some form of 2021 signup pledge for season tickets to allow the club to budget for next season? I'd donate the cost of a season ticket, anything to see us through this period. You cannot put a price on the memories I have supporting this club.
Massive respect to the players taking wage cuts and for IL putting £500K into the club.

| That was a hard read, very worrying times indeed.
As a non season ticket holder unfortunately I'm unable to 'gift' any funds to the club to get them through 2020 and 2021 other than allowing the club to collect 10 weeks Lotto from me this week.
I'm planning on purchasing club merchandise via the club shop, but should anyone set up a gofundme site, or have any ideas for donations and fund raising then let me know.

| The club shop has free postage and a sale on the kits (and other items) currently in time for Father’s Day. I’m sure they’ll be hoping plenty utilise those offers.
In the longer term they’ll probably need to get creative. I know drive in cinemas are now allowed, so I wonder if they could make money from screening games once they’re back behind closed doors. If the club could sell merchandise and food/drink with social distancing measures in place, I think it would prove popular. Season ticket holders could potentially get in for free but I’m sure plenty would still pay and even if people were to get in for free, they’d then probably spend money on other things. It would create income for the club and some atmosphere for the fans.

| From a Warrington Season Ticket holder, that is a good considered letter. unlike the hysterical ramblings of some other local chairman. I suspect we will get something similar. Difficult times call for difficult measures. Lets just hope we can all pull through. This is the greatest game with the best fans after all..

That’s a fabulous idea, there are some
Big car parks around the stadium, big screen to show the ‘behind closed doors games, watch from your car like a drive in.

I read a Football team in Denmark are doing it and it got me thinking. Not sure on the rules of drinking alcohol in cars (the driver can’t obviously ) but if passengers could sink a few whilst watching the games, I’m sure it could work. It sounds like our games won’t be in Wigan anyway, so there shouldn’t be too many issues with our fans being close to the stadium the game is at.

If only we could guarantee the weather we have the playing field at the Arena. Surely there can be some sort of fundraising event on the field (and surround g running track).

| I love this club.
If them keeping my season ticket money helps keep them going, that’s fine. Luckily I’m in a position too.
Also looking to sign up to the lotto and maybe pick something up from the shop.

Not sure, only got the little one a kit. Think I read this years are better, as in an XL is an XL and not like Errea we’re you started needing to go sizes up.

| One way to help, if you haven’t already is to sign up for Wigan TV. It’s less than 40 quid a year. As well as having loads of good content there is no additional expenditure from the club point of view.

| What I would consider if I was part of the management team would be to extend the free ticket age for juniors from eight to nine or ten, for a couple of years at least. That way there would be more chance of their parents also renewing or even new members joining.

I’m like that after every Christmas
All jokes aside the sizes of those Errea shirts were ridiculous. I got a training top that was XL and I’d put on some timber but most of my XL shirts would be fine and have room to spare and this thing would be like a tank top sprayed on. I then lost some weight and XL tops would be quite big on me but that shirt is still on the snug side (although it does go over my belly button now).

| Im sorry but over recent times i have seen the club take a direction i do not like. I will not give my money to a club that inserts itself into non RL related social issues and i know a lot of people that feel the same way and are disgusted. I support Wigan to watch them play rugby league not to have the latest social trends forced down my throat.

In today's world social media is a BIG player, particularly with the younger fan set. Warrington are very good at it, but accept it's not to everyone's taste. You can always chose not to follow, like, subscribe?

I normally get a large and, whilst last season’s was a slightly tight fit, this season’s is bang on.
Me and the Mrs are season ticket holders and we are in the fortunate position of not needing to ask for refunds.
I have bought a shed load of merchandise from the club shop over the years, usually replica shirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts, fleeces and jackets. The quality and designs seem to be worsening year on year but I think I’ll have another look and see what I can do.
