| Just got a call from an elderly relative who tried to buy tickets online last night for the Salford game for her and some friends (apparently there is a new ticketing website in place) This is her experience:
She tries to log in and it denies access saying her details have expired because of the new system and she has to reset her password.
She tries to reset her password - it says in order to do so you need to enter the 'client code' so they can email it to her. She has no idea what her code is and neither do I for that matter.
She then rings up to ask for her client code and no-one answers.
She and her friends decide not to go because they can't get tickets.
Now bless her heart she didn't contact me to ask for help as she didn't want to bother me. I found out because I rang her myself today about something else and have since sorted out tickets for her (although 3 of her friends now can't go). To crown it off, I get an email saying 'Thanks for buying tickets with Wigan Athletic' with an invite to 'subscribe for the latest news and ticket details for the Latics'.
Some might see this as a bit of a trivial thing - I think I was motivated to post mainly because she struggles to muster the courage to go out and do things these days and I'm annoyed for her. But top marks again to the off field at Wigan - its now a nightmare for the less able to buy tickets (at least on this occasion).

| Having the same issues with the site myself this morning,insane that they pushed this live with just the client code as your log in (do you know yours off by heart?)I’ll go the bloody ticket office tonight for my saints tickets and be done with it

| Tried to purchase tickets to Saints away. Each time I enter my client code to hook up to the new system, it says ‘An unexpected error has occured, please try again later’.
I have had this same message for the last 3 days with no indication of what the error is, how to resolve it or if I will be able to actually buy tickets online. A complete joke.

| The club ticket sales , Promotion and administration are quite flrankly embarrassing.
The electronic advertising boards in front of the East Sand on Friday night were showing an advert inviting fans to pre order the replica Milwaukee Magic shirt . Obviously was there for the last home game and had not been changed or removed . About sums up the off field promotion of the club.

| The website buying experience had been poor for years, but try to contact customer services and you'll not even get a response.
Emblematic of the penny pinching and budget stretching at the club.
Last season I bought tickets for two football clubs, one in another non-English speaking country, and the customer services bent over backwards to help - really made me feel like part of the club, rather than completely unvalued and unworthy of a response.

The club don’t care about the fans and I have seen and heard nothing recently to suggest that is going to change any time soon.

| Irrelevant if the client code is on your ticket or not, the customer service is extremely poor and when you do finally get to speak to someone they are either arrogant or clueless.

Yea last year I got a lecture from one of them over the importance of the client code..I still don’t know it,anyway I got my saints tickets sorted in Friday evening and got an email receipt from Wigan athletic thanking me for the purchase

I guess it depends who you speak yo then. Last week I had lost my car park pass and rang the ticket office. The lady I spoke to was very polite and understanding. She told me to go to the ticket office next day and the pass would be replaced, which is what I did, and the pass was waiting for me.

Or what you call up for. If you call up to buy a ticket and as such need your client code so they can easily find you on the system but you can't be bothered to look at the front of the season ticket you have had for 20 years then it is clearly the fault of the girl in the ticket office.
FWIW I've never had an issue and that includes buying 20+ tickets for finals as well.

Not tried using the new log in yet but you can usually print tickets at home but you usually have to pay for the privilege of doing so

| I tried to buy saints tickets the other day and the only fulfilment option was collection. Tried ringing the ticket office because wanted them posted but gave up after trying to get through for a couple of hours. Waste of time.

| I’ve printed tickets at home a number of times (home cup and WCC games) and never been charged extra. I think it was actually advertised as free to do so?
Still can’t get past the error screen despite entering my client code. Gave up and phoned the ticket office which incidentally was a very quick and easy process.

| I tried to buy 3 tickets for the Salford game. Two adults and one OAP.
I had no issue with my client code and logging in, but upon putting the tickets into my basket is where the fun and games started.
It was pricing one of the tickets as free, but unless I selected the OAP ticket as the free one it would bring back an error message saying prices couldn't be calculated. Once selecting the OAP ticket as the "free" one, I was presented with another error message stating that I couldn't buy more than 4 tickets, I would need to call the ticket office to do this. Also the print at home option was not present.
So when I called the ticket office, the very helpful lady did sort me out with tickets and explained the above issues, the latter being only an issue if you want to buy more than 2 tickets which it then thinks is more than 4.
I am intending on going to the Wakefield gamelater this month, lets see what the website has in store this time.
