Who do we want in the draw? Dewsbury away again wouldn’t be bad, or Bulls away, knowing our luck atm it’ll be Saints away

With 10 other SL teams, 4 Champ and 1 from League 1 chances are we will get drawn against another SL team. Personally wouldn't mind Halifax or Doncaster away as we haven't played either in a few years. Though I hate saying it drawing a SL team and an early exit (not that we are guaranteed to beat a non SL team right now) may serve us better if our form hasn't picked up by the time the cup tie comes around.

I personally would like Halifax or Bradford away as it's a long time since we have been to either ground

We just need an even break in this round, until we get a few bodies back and find some form, hopefully. I think top 5 in SL is now beyond us, so we need to do well in the CC to get anything out of this season

It will 100% be a tough away draw because that’s just how the season is going.

Being purely selfish, give us Doncaster away on the Friday night so I can actually get there after work, will be working all weekend during the afternoons.

Doncaster away. Unfamiliar away day, rest a few players and stay in the hat so that we hopefully have injured players back for when we face SL opposition. I think we're capable of beating anyone except Saints or Wire.

Widnes away could leave us with egg on our faces, given that we don't like risking our best players on their pitch and they are in the habit of winning....

I was also thinking that maybe we should rest some ‘star’ players against Saints whom we can’t possibly beat with our present team so we have a better chance of beating Salford who will be tired after their Good Friday game.

Depends what the team looks like by then but I wouldn’t rule us out. Let’s make no bones about it Saints are a distance in front of everyone including Wire and that would’ve been the only draw which would’ve totally ruled us out IMO.

If we can get a strong pack out you never know.

Not too concerned about us drawing tough opposition away to be honest. On current form you would have to say we are likely to lose but the tie isn't played for four weeks so things could change for both us and Warrington by then. If we are still struggling in terms of form and injuries then and lose, then we get rest weeks later in the season to help us in the fight to stay up. If we have started to get some regular first teamers back and to pick up points in the league by then, then we would have a better chance of winning the cup tie. If we were to beat them we would be in the last 8 having removed one of the main contenders for the cup in the process, with another sure to have gone out from the Hull v Cas tie (and would presumably be in much better form on the field than we are at present).
