Watched the game on a bar in Pefkos Rhodes . That was as good a defensive display as I've seen in over 60 years of watching Wigan.

Feel for Hamlin but I felt the right team had been picked before kick off and it looked that way. He didn’t get many minutes tonight but Escare could have a big part to play next week on a big pitch at Old Trafford.

Good defence but niggly and borderline legal.Sadly you've got the players to play a more expansive game and still win so let's hope that the incoming coach gives them more freedom.

I'd have Hamlin over Sutton every day of the week.

Sutton can't keep hold of the ball and is a penalty machine.

I mentioned during the game Sutton wasn’t at his best. I also worry about his ball control but I doubt we’ll see any changes next week if everyone is fit. I’m sure they’ll play but the likes of Clubb and Leuluai looked in pain at the end.

Difficult to single out anyone, however Tommy was immense. Also thought that Gildart had his best game by far for ages. Shenton must have been sick of the sight of him the number of times he cut him down.

Yeah, doubt there will be any change, I hope Wane's stubbornness doesn't cost him in his final game.

Although it was a tight arm wrestle, we never really looked in danger of conceding tonight. Cas didn't play poorly, we just controlled them out of the game. Classic Wane.

Never been a wigan fan by any means, but last night you were defensive machines.... fair play. Here’s to a few decent battles in the future (where you aren’t as defensively dominant..... hopefully).

With so many players and coaching staff saying farewell, if there was ever a time to put indiscipline and sloppiness aside, it is now. I can only see another 80 minutes of near-perfection in terms of game management from this squad next week.
