| Along with Joel Tomkins.
When he made that very selfish announcement that he had resigned at the end of the season instead of waiting until the end of the season, it has derailed our season.
Now we have a team of average joes with extended contracts all down to Wane.
We need someone in asap to whip these Wane boys club members into shape, I hope IL acts right away to salvage something for this season.

| I'm not one for knee-Jerkery... But some hard words, and decisive actions need to be taken... Maybe it would be best if Wane went now, and i'm sure that IL will be weighing up his options.

I would hate to see Wane sacked but a mutually agreed immediate parting of the ways could be the best way to go.

| A full management restructure starting with Radlinski would be my first point of action. Read his blogs about culture etc. to see what a myth and sham it is when he talks about high standards.

Yes, probably meant that other than using the word sacked, it needs to happen now.

Not sure how that could be interpreted as anything else other than a sacking.

If both parties agree that an immediate parting is best all round and publicly state as much why would that be interpreted as a sacking? The scenario could be that Wane doesn't want to stay and IL agrees, couldn't it?

| 3 Major Domestic Trophies in 7 Years with two of those in the same year is a pretty poor return from the best-paid squad and best setup club in the competition.
Madge got 2 from 2 and he inherited a team that had won nothing for years.
Wane inherited a winning team and culture and ruined it.
We could have been dominant for years after MM left, but we have really become a mess.
Hoping IL will sort it out asap.

| The management seem happy to try to sweep major cultural issues in this environment under the carpet.
Whilst they do this the culture will continue to suffer.
Major changes needed either in attitude or personell.
Rads has to carry the can for this. Great player, don’t see what he brings to the table as a top quality administrator.
A club like Wigan deserves a top quality administrator.

Agreed, yes, sadly it like we have returned to the bad old days of mid-2000's.
A new broom needs to sweep clean.

Because (if it happens) last week he was here till the end of the season and next week he's out the door after the CC exit. They could say what they liked and they might even mean it but the no one would believe he wasn't shown the door.

| There is some nonsense wrote on here at the best of times but Shaun Wane didnt miss any tackles today. Until we have his replacement signed then he is the best man for the job.
We lost in the manner Wire lost at Magic Weekend, they are a good side and yes we were pathetic today, but we will be back and be a threat in the playoffs. Only one side can win each trophy and we have no god given right to win any of them.
Warrington were superb from 1 to 17, fair play to them its up to us to dust ourselves down and make a massive run at the grand final. If we arent good enough then the new coach will come at the end of the season (As Madge and Wane did) and he will know what is expected of him.

Why don't you get that not everyone agrees with you? If Wane goes tomorrow saying "I've had enough" how do you come to the absolute conclusion that what has really happened is that IL has shown him the door? Is there no possible (or permitted) alternative to your view? Actually, I think I know your answer to that one.

Scoring only 4 tries against that Wigan performance? Anyone who thinks warrington where outstanding is deluded. They did a job but by heck, the likes of Widnes, Salford & Leigh should’ve beaten us yesterday. It says a lot about British RL that people think warrington where excellent.

I tend to agree with you; despite Warringtons pack completely dominating ours, they weren’t “outstanding” but more so efficient at what they did. An outstanding Warrington team yesterday beats that Wigan display by 40-50pts.
Going back to the original point, if SW was involved in the cover up then I also agree that come Monday he should be let go. If not then there’s no reason (yet) for him to leave early, that could well change dependant on the Wakey result.

| Warrington were far better than Wigan were and at Magic, we were far better than they were. Yesterday was as bad as I’ve seen us with the ball and defensively we allowed them too many offloads and that hurt us. That said, we were dogged in defence the whole game,
We are currently 2nd and if we win our game in hand (if), we are 8 points ahead of 5th. I still believe SW is the best person for the job for the remainder of this season and I’m confident that yesterday will be the low point. Back on the horse on Thursday and let’s see how we go. A repeat of yesterday and I may change my mind but a performance like that at Magic will leave egg on a few faces. I suspect we’ll see something in between.

The problem is Bigred fewer and fewer people are really bothered if we can turn it around on Thursday or any other match.
One of the worst performances I have ever seen from a Wigan team.
There is something seriously wrong at club and I suspect very few people know what is really going on.
SW is getting the flack but the players should be getting a damn sight more.
It was a soul destroying performance and I just cant see a turnaround by Thursday.
Thank god it wasn't Saints yesterday as they would have got 50 or 60 without getting out of 2nd gear

No argument from me with this mate, it was a painful afternoon. The question I’d ask though, is if SW was sacked on Monday, how will that improve us for the rest of the season? It probably wouldn’t and we’d end up with John Winder in temporary charge so culturally, nothing will change.
We need to move on and get over it and quick but what yesterday showed us is that SW leaving is good for the club. We need something new, fresh ideas. Players leaving at the same time can be a real positive because the incoming coach will have some money to spend on players than can help make the changes the new coach wants.

| Let's be honest, there's no point in sacking a coach who is leaving in five months anyway, and for whom a replacement has not yet been found.. But I certainly expect someone to have a word and enquire what the plan is for the renainder of the season, because that's one of our main targets gone within two weeks of SW announcing his resignation. That wasn't just a loss yesterday, that was a serious blow to the club's ambitions and the fans' morale - and it was given up softly to a set of opponents we easily had the beating of only a fortnight ago.
We're supposed to be professionals, and however annoyed and/or upset people are, that can't be allowed to become the new narrative of 2018.

I believe that Winder does most of the coaching anyway so even if SW departs and Winder gets the job in the short term then I cant see any major changes in style of play.
I think what really upset me about yesterday was that it wasn't a shock, it was painful but it didn't surprise me.
For a supposedly fit team there was no energy from the first minute and for a team with supposed structures being the very heart of the style of rugby we play we had zero structure in attack.
Whoever gets the gig his first priority must be to sign someone who actually knows how to kick a rugby ball. His second priority must be to burn the wrestling pit.
