If I were Wane I'd seriously consider bringing Ryan Hampshire back to Wigan on loan. He would provide ideal cover at #1, #6 and #7, plus he would know he HAD to prove himself.

The "rumours" are that Escare could be out for the season. There is no back up half as Shorrocks is out for the season. A focussed Hampshire could do the job.

Been pretty average for us TBH - would not be in starting 17, generally only playing due to injury/ suspension.
When he's played it's mainly been at full back but not really stood out and is terrifying under the high ball - but he seems like he can shift if he gets the chance

Had spells during some games at half back and looks quite promising, would like him to have a run there but better coaches than ours don't fancy him there - but it's not like we have anything to lose at the moment

What job? We have Tierney (or Tomkins in a few weeks) for FB and O'Loughlin is our backup half (and Tomkins in a few weeks).

Plus once Micky Mac is fully fit Powell can cover in the halves so that gives us an extra option.

I wish we could have kept Rocky at Cas as he never let us down in any position he played. Sadly he wanted to play in the halves and he was too far down the pecking order.
