Well I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot and when in Fiji I mentioned the where I was from to one of the staff in the place we were staying and I had a hard time not being dragged off to coach his team because, he said, as I was from Wigan "I must know all about Rugby".

When you have fans pegged like that then you are a famous club.

I think you are confusing 'famous' with recently successful

Wigan fans shouldn't take this as a compliment to their team. They would have followed anyone who was playing against us. Deep rooted jealousy is a terrible thing.

You're that famous the RFL would not relegate you the season you broke the salary cap. Most people go for the underdog in a final and hull have most certainly got to wembley the hard way

Eh? When all other clubs were amateur? Well that was pre 1895. So, we were famous before the split with RU and he formation of the Northern Union but you think we haven't been since then. Wow, that's a big claim.
