Wigan were the better team BUT they only won because of some very dodgy decisions and are very very lucky.

If i was a HKR fan i would be gutted about losing that game on the basis of officials decisions and interpretations.

The ref was just as bad for both teams, that ruck speed was awful it was just an awful game to watch, hull krs first two try's came from two obstructions but we won't see anyone mention that. We played as bad as we did vs Cas, luckily Hull KR are awful or it would have been another embarrassing home loss.

Silverwood was a joke at times tonight but it went both ways. Charnleys try shouldn't have been given in my opion, But again, the second one actually was a try.

People seem to be unhappy that KR had so many penalties given against them. But when you turn up and do nothing but slow the ball down and mess about in the ruck then you are going to concede penalties.

Wigan were poor but we slogged it out and deserved the win imo. I can see why Hull KR would feel aggrieved, They could easily have won, But on the balance of play it wasn't anywhere near as bad as some people seem to be making out.

Ref killed the game with the ruck speed. Same thing was happening last weekend at both Challenge Cup games.

Charnley had 1 dodgy try given and 1 try disallowed. Seems both set of Muppet's on Sky missed the blatant obstruction for HKR second try. IF i think it was Hansen ran into the HKR player then fair enough but he ran into Hansen stopping him tackling Eden.

Seriously i think that the RFL has decided that the Salary Cap does not make SL competitive so they now will slow the game down and kill the best teams.

I agree with this, the ruck speed has been awful of late... Ull have the players to cause damage, but as you say, were more interested in emulating Leeds, ruck speed wise. Considering the players we were missing, not too unhappy.

It was an incredibly frustrating game to watch because of the ruck speed. KR were constantly trying to slow the game down.

Silverwood was poor but he was about the standard I've come to expect. Her certainly dropped clangers for both sides and Childs managed to do both sides too.

Makes a change for Childs he usually only does us.

Aiii and credit to Wigan for helping the Hull KR players to their feet so quickly, both team guilty of messing about at PTB but only 1 put on team warning and had a player binned!!

Hull KR were slowing us down with lying on and all sorts when they beat us the other week. They are the worst side in SL discipline-wise IMO.

There was no obstruction in the Hull KR try. If you think it was obstruction, then a lot of Wigan trys should be chalked off for the same reasoning too. Bad read from Hansen.

Forward pass from Eden to Gleeson was incorrectly called. You score off the next play and go in at HT 10-10.

Charnley's first VR call was a shocking decision, it was CLEARLY not a try. His second VR call was not so clear cut and initially I thought it was no try, but on the super zoom it appears it was a try.

That's the difference. You can use all the justification in the world about swings and roundabouts etc, but the one that CLEARLY wasn't a try was somehow given. You must be able to understand their frustrations.

Bit of an oxymoron there as it describes swings and roundabout exactly. Charnley's second wasn't a try but his 'third' was, yet it was given the other way round so overall made no difference.

And no Hansen just stood his ground and the KR player obstructed him, clear as day.

Read my post again. The 'third' try was a 50/50 call at the time. The VR hasn't got access to 'SUPER SUPER ZOOM'

If the 2nd try is disallowed as it should have been then the third try doesn't happen. If the ridiculous forward wasn't given before half time the whole complexity of the game changes.

Never said that, but I know for a fact that it gets incredibly boring watching games that are remembered for incompetent refereeing decisions where the ref has all the time in yhe world to get it right. Would love to hear his reasons for giving it...

Im quite suprised about some of the posts on here, I thought Silwerwood was awful last night but for BOTH teams. If anything, I thought Hull KR got more decisions than us, he penalised us on our own line time after time for lying on and offside when Hull KR were at it all night, it was quite clear the tactics they came with and they seemed to get away with it. The Charnley decision was dubious but I haven't seen it back yet properly, however that was the VR not Silverwood.

I mean the only way any neutral (aka non wigan fans) would enjoy it is if wigan got beat so it must be the referee who created this injustice?

And for us wigan fans I think we should worry more about dropped ball on 1st 2nd 3rd tackles coming out our own half than questioning the penalties we concede off the back of it first?
Not saying I liked Silverwoods display but we should fix what we can fix first.

Real shame. We will never know who should have won this game as it was so polluted by very poor decisions both ways.

This is the Sky script isn't it? If I recall correctly, there were 3 VR decisions which were debatable and could have been given, and 2 went against us. Hansen was taken out for Dobson's try. HKR were lucky, but they shoudn't let that detract from a decent performance.
We were lucky to see Budgie's excellent debut, Rocky again showing signs of a wonderful attacking talent and Luaki making a far stronger comeback than we could have expected.
