Westwood? Never. He's only just found any sort of form.

Lockers hasn't played enough recently to be in the hunt 'yet' IMO.

I still see Tomkins as favourite along with Brough and Peacock. It's still all up for grabs yet though.

Depending on where Huddersfield finish, it'll be Brough or Tomkins I reckon

I reckon Peacock will get a lot of votes, especially if Leeds do ok in the playoffs.

Think Liam Farrell could also be in the mix.

No one has really stood out for me. Sam has been his usual self and would deserve it again, he is the best player in the league hands down. It's a players vote though so could go to anyone really.

Might hinder some of our better players that they've missed a fair bit more of the season than usual this year.

That said, Tomkins' scoring ratio is just ridiculous again this year.

Eddie and Stevo will rig the vote so that Tomkins wins and they can nosh him off some more hahah

Charlie is a Leyther 100%, but my Man of Steel this year has to be Liam Farrell .

For lockers not to win it in his career would be a travesty for me personally
Can't for sure day he's nailed on this year as brough has been awesome
SAMs Sam josh scored loadsa try's faz had the start he did (tailed off abit recently)
From the bits I've seen mylers having a decent year and hill too
Could go any were this year
Brough winning might slap the face of McNamara which can only be a good thing IMO

He had a storming start to the season, but seemed to go off the boil a bit, though to be fair that did coincide with Green's absence, which definitely had an effect.

One thing is for sure. Roby won't be in the mix for once.

Think there is a few who could squeak into contention as well as the old guard. Hardaker, Crabtree, Lineham and Higham to name a few.

Brough should win it

I'd go with Brough to be honest, he would look like an absolute world beatee at Wigan, Wire or Leeds. It's a bit daft when thebMOS is voted for though. The business end of the SL season won't even have started.

Charnley is in the picture, but I don't think he's fully there yet. It's a hard accolade to win and he faces stiff competition.

I think this season is the first time in recent years when I dont think there is an absolute stand out player. Brough has been superb but does goes missing at times and for me the award is about consistency week in week out. Lockers would have been a shoe in but has missed games, Sam is doing what Sam does and also a contender. Farrell seemed to go well when we were at full strength and had the team around him but struggled to stand out in the same way when we had all the young lads coming in. Peacock seems to have rolled back the years this season, Sinfield has been off his game for large parts so its a tough call. Id like to see the shortlist as Brough, Lockers and Sam and wouldnt begrudge any of those winning it..

For a winger to win it they'd have to be exceptional, they're not as involved as other positions are. You could say they are almost flaccid in comparison.

True that, you're looking at a Richards or Vainikolo at their peak for that, Charnley's a good winger but nowhere near man of steel. I wouldn't even say he's the best winger in the comp
