No, if you click the "Customise Your Membership" link you can add these to your season ticket. Wigan TV is £35 a year and the e-programmes are £39.

| If this forums users are correct the club will be lucky to have 7,000 season ticket holders for 2013.

A £9 rise isn't too bad really.

It's actually less than the price rise from the 2011 season for 2012......that went up by £10 (£206 to £216).

The match day price in the Boston Stand (silver) has gone up by £1 a game since 2011 (£20), 2012 (£21), and now 2013 (£22).
In 2010 it was £18.

Why not?
£9 is pretty much pennies, but how is any rise justified?
There's been no rise in VAT for nearly 2 years, inflation is the lowest it's been for 2 years. Added to that, we will most likely not be spending to the full salary cap next year, a number of young players are moving on, money from SKY is at an all time high and we are (presumably) getting a lot more money from sponsors - all this while the renting costs for the DW remain the same, the pre-match and half-time 'entertainment' at games either doesn't exist or is absolute toilet (PLEASE stop doing the Sumo suits thing) and the quality on the pitch around the league gets gradually worse.
I absolutely despise moaning about ticket prices, so this post is kinda ironic, but I would love to know where the £100k from the season ticket price increases is going.

.....Especially if the reorganisation of the reserve squads (or whatever we're supposed to call them now) is designed to primarily save money.
BTW that £9 rise is 4% which is well above current inflation. At least the car park hasn't gone up too.

| Central Park is (I believe) being funded by the council and the money from our CC win (and other profits last year), is it not?
Wigan TV is a subscription service for people that want it, why the frick should I have to pay for it out of my season ticket? (they've actually cut a lot of content that used to be available on the website freely as well)
And I've no idea what the 3rd one even means. Didn't we have a connection with them last year as well? And by connection, I mean we just shipped our unfit players there to get some game time... surely it's not very costly.

| Maybe they should introduce a scheme whereby if the club win the CC or GF, then existing ST holders get 5% off the price of the following season's ST.

| I'm also pretty sure I haven't had a pay rise since 2007 so any increase hurts however slightly.

| But the price of everything has gone up. The clubs food bill, petrol bill, heating bill, electricity bill, water bill, council tax, probably even the rent.
All in all I don't think a £9 rise (50p'ish per game) is that bad. It certainly wouldn't sway my decision either way about getting a season ticket.

| You've also got to bear in mind when considering price increases that we had a price freeze for a couple of years so we are still playing a bit of catch up to bring us into line with what the other clubs charge. I think we're on about the same level now though.
Also if I'm correct in saying 10% of gate receipts get paid in rent then a £1 increase is only actually an extra 90p in profit to help cover our overheads and make the club more sustainable.

| the rises [iseem [/ireasonable & won't stop me shelling out in the next couple of days (not for the TV thingy though, made me mind up that it's a waste of time).
But it'd be nice if a full breakdown of the expenditure was made public (without having to go to Companies House) - I know they don't have to, but it'd still be a "nice to have" & it'd stop a lot of bellyaching that goes on at the end of each year.
Just a thought

Even with a discount for early renewal, it's £201 for terrace, and £231 - £286 for seated (dependent on whether the seat is behind the posts or adj, half way line) for a ST at Wire although I personally prefer the atmosphere generated from the terracing. What you're being charged at Wigan isn't that bad in comparison, especially as you all get a seat .......
Does get me a bit worried though that, at a time when there are so many grumblings about the importance/quality of some league games, most clubs have still put another few £'s on last years ST prices ...... only time will tell if sales are down!
