Same thing happened during the construction of new Wembley . It is rumoured that there are several Scotland shirts under one of the goal areas .

I must say I have4 also heard this. Apparantly there I 2, one in the centre and one behind the try line. God only knows if it's true or not.

Thats said I do know of other 'Wigan' things that have been 'marked' on certain parts of the buildings by one of the companies who supplied the materials.

this also happened to Gary Neville, two scouse builders put a shirt underneath his swimming pool.

There is no doubt, I've seen the proof of it happening. And even as a Saints fan I found it funny. I'd be surprised if anyone was genuinely bothered by it really.

Everytime a new ground is built you get these kinds of stories.

I'd be more intrigued were Langtree Park built on an old Indian burial ground.

I don't care what is buried under Langtree Park as long as we Bury them on Good Friday.

So Wigan are beneath Saints forever? Fail to see how you perceive that is good for you, but carry on finding it entertaining, by all means

To be honest they needed a good amount of Sh1t to get the grass to grow....

It has been confirmed by a St Helens RLFC spokesman that the rumours are true and that two Wigan shirts have indeed been found hidden away in a 'dark and dusty area which is largely unused' within Langtree Park Stadium.

"We are looking to having the shirts removed from our trophy cabinet within the next few days", he added.

There is 100% two Wigan shirts buried underneath the St Helens pitch, numerous which have been plastered over in the main stand and a good few hidden in other area's around the stadium.

Whoever the main contractor was clearly didn't think about where the other contractors were being hired from - majority were from Wigan!

The S**t will help the grass grow, and its as close as Wigan will come to owning their own Stadium.
