| Is there any point turning up to this?
Is it a proper team being sent out?
I'd imagine that it will be a team minus the international players but I'm just speculating. Has anybody heard anything concrete?

| It's a game of rugby of course it is worth going! We sent out 5 players we would call first team choices at Fev with the rest our academy yet we still took 4 coaches and loads of cars! Ok Featherstone is only an hour away for us but its's rugby and no matter who's got your shirt on it's a first team game!

| I'd expect it to be abit of a tester for some players with question marks over their heads:
1. Russell
2. Charnley
3. Gelling
4. Goulding
5. King
6. Finch
7. Powell
8. Dudson
9. McIlorum
10. Mossop
11. Hock
12. Lauaki
13. Flower
14. Hansen
15. Lima
16. Logan
17. Farrell
No need to risk players like Sam (I wouldnt play him in any of the friendlys, seeing as his season lasted longer than everyone elses) Carmont, Richards, O'Loughlin, Leuluai
Had initially put Roberts in at fullback but just read on the wigan today website that he is still injured.

| Normally I wouldn't go to friendlies as I don't see the point in them. My gf, on the other hand, has palpitations at the thought of missing a game of shove ha'penny, never mind games involving Wigan!
However, it's a trip to Hull, which usually makes for a good booze up, so I reckon I might make an exception for this one.

| I'm sure I read an interview where wane said that he was going to use this and the salford games as where we will see as near to the first team as possible.
I'd like us to with something like:-
1. Russell
2. Charnley
3. Gelling
4. Goulding
5. Richards
6. Finch
7. Powell
8. Lauaki
9. McIllorum
10. Lima
11. Hansen
12. Farrell
13. O'loughlin
Subs could be anyone!

| One thing for sure is Rovers will be introducing their summer signings to the home crowd along with the new coach. It might not match the rough and tumble of SL but I reckon Sandercock will want a home win.

| It will probably be freezing and a poor game but any rugby is better than sitting at home. I'd go with:
FB 1 Sam
RW 2 Charnley
RC 3 Goulding
LC 4 Carmont
LW 5 Richards
SO 29 Powell
SH 7 Leuluai
P 22 Dudson
H 9 McIlorum
P 10 Mossop
SR 11 Hansen
SR 12 Hock
LF 13 O'Loughlin
S 6 Finch
S 14 Lima
S 16 Farrell
S 17 Tuson
S 21 Lauaki
S 24 Gelling
S 25 Mellor
S 28 Logan
Bring on Gelling, Finch and Mellor for Carmont, Powell and Leuluai at half time. The rest of the subs are all in the pack so just roll them on and off as usual. I couldn't really find a spot for Flower in this one but I look forward to seeing him play

I'd be happy with that it give's a few new signings to show what they have got and a few fringe/younger player's to prove their worth for the up and coming season. I'd like to see Logan Tomkin's given a chance from the bench although I've heard he isn't Wigan standard I'd still like to see him in this friendly to see what he can offer.

| I'd probably take lockers out of my team and give tuson a game. Lockers is coming back from injury and is obviously going to play in his testimonial. Two games in 4 days might be a bit too much for him.

| I'm sure we'll see Russell in this one and probably will be the 'youngster' we see break through this year (hopefully along with a half back).
I hope Powell plays well also, I know it's only a friendly but it'd be encouraging.

| It's worth throwing 5 or 6 first teamers in for this one just to back the youngsters up but I wouldn't go with many more then that.
The Giants and Salford games should be the main fixtures for us. I'd use this simply to blow some cobwebs off and see which youngsters deserve to be in the mix for those next 2 friendlies and the start of superleague.

| A bonus guys is that you'll be under cover as your allocated the Roger Millward stand as we are dismantling the North stand in preparation to start building work on our new stand.
Here's your view.
And as a plus our new stand for 2013.

No!, as Easty has stated in above above post, you are been allocated part of the Roger Millward stand due to the start of construction of new North stand.
Hope to see a good few of you there and have a safe journey.

For the league game you'll be at the south end of the ground ............................................but wait but you'll be in the current North stand that you've being in for previous games. It's simply getting dismantled and re-erected at the south end of the ground. So from 2013 nobody should have to view a game from that far back again. As an added plus it will have a fancy TV behind it. You'll have to turn your heads to see it though
Quote HULL'S former city centre big screen will play a major part in enhancing the Robins' match-day experience.
The club is presently going through the planning process to install the screen at the south end of the MS3 Craven Park Stadium.'"

Are there any plans to re develop the south end after the north has been done? What will it take your attendance up to once completed?

They've looked at getting a new South stand with grants by building an olympic sized swimmming pool for the community etc but those plans are a long way off. The current North stand will sit at the South end for a few years I feel. The current North is only 1261 so improving it is a must.
The new North stand will be 2600 much needed seats. Main priority for me though is completing the unfinished east stand. for which we've had 750k funding in place for at least a year, However planning permission denied until the North stand is built due to not having the correct amount of disabled spots. The Clubs offered lots of alternatives but it's not being satisfactory for the local council.
We are so in need of extra capacity but with the correct vantage points. Millward stand which is our West stand is sold out to season pass holders with only restricted viewing seats left. And the East stand sells out most weeks and when it's sold out people certainly won't go in the current South and are not keen on the North for whatever reason.

Official club reply... "Due to en error from hosts Hull KR, fans who have purchased concessionary tickets via the DW Stadium ticket office have been charged £8 istead of £5. To reclaim the difference take your match ticket to the Craven Park ticket office before kick off on Sunday"
