| Name two players (from the past) who you wished you'd seen play for Wigan (and why) - one UK, one overseas.
[uUK[/u
Des Drummond. Would have been devastating to have had him and Gilly on the other wing back in the early-mid 80's.
[uOverseas[/u
I know he's RU, but Jonah Lomu was phenominal, would have put two thousand extra bums on seats every league match no problem.

| Overseas is a real tough one as there are so many. I'd have to say though, Shane Webcke. Absolutely loved that
guy.
UK. Coin toss between Tommy Martyn and KFC I'd say.
My ever lasting memory of Martyn will probably be the way he opened our defence in that 19-0 Easter Monday game with a look left-pass right ball to Peter Shiels. Put them 8-0 up and effectively won the game. Pure class.
Would have loved to see KFC have more of a crack at the Aussies. Had to shake his hand and say 'Thank You' after the 2010 GF. Cracking player.

| UK - KFC, he was a superb player who was classy with ball in hand, powerful, creative, while also generating skills of leadership throughout his career.
Overseas - Andrew Johns, the best player of the noughties. Made players around him play better. I can understand why people would pick individual talents but the ability to make others look good is something not many players can do. Just having this guy on your team sheet would give anyone a lift.
It is pretty difficult picking for this kind of thing, so many of the best players actually played for us.

Peter Sterling - alongside Kenny.
Ruben Wiki - could carry any pack, even ours in 2005 / 6.

| Overseas - Paul Harrigan or Ruben Wiki
Uk - Stu Fielden (circa Bulls 2005) and Barrie Mac
That is not a dig at Stu, nor is it a thread derail. In his prime he was the (for mine) the most brutal Prop i have seen in a genertion.
Him and Barrie would have knocked the bejesus out of any pack in world rugby RL

| Overseas - It would have to be Darren Lockyer for me. He just had it all and is the best player I have seen.
UK - Probably James Roby but I cant really say many names jump out at me in the same way as they do with overseas players.

| Only two? Bloody eck you make it hard.
Overseas- I'll be different and say Stephen Kearney. Pace, power, vision, leadership.
Boyhood hero was Gary Kemble.
UK- Cunningham. Best hooker in the world at one time and I've obviously overlooked some of his less advisable actions
Disliked (hated is such a strong word) Des Drummond with a passion as a kid. Always the knees!

| Overseas. Tom Van Vollenhoven.
I have allways said that Billy Boston is the greatest player I have ever seen, mostley on the wing, sometimes centre and even standoff.
But for pure wing play Tom Van V was a joy to watch,he had everything ,pure pace and a swerve/step so subtle all he required was half a yard down the touch line.
Home Grown. Dick Huddart.
He was the most destructive running second row I have ever seen,he was big, strong and quick.
Both these names are from the past, but it was a great era for very good Rugby League players.
