| It would be nice to be able to avoid the busy (and expensive!) phone lines by using the e ticketing system. Sadly I couldn't do it last week as it wouldn't let me log in, then when I did manage to log in my seat wasn't available so looks like it will be 'your queue position is ........' for another hour or two.

| Unbelievable. Having just seen the best part of half the usual attendance for a Saints game go missing, they choose to repeat the error, and now i'll be surprised if there is more than 8000 on for this one. We weren't supposed to be playing this weekend and this fixture is a "bonus" one for the bean counters, so why not just charge £10 and £5 for all areas? Surely a packed DW is what the team need, not a ghost town.
The club seem determined to make the fans pay financially for the team's failure on the pitch today.

this, after the performance on the pitch today, they should be offering them free with a ticket stub from today's game, by way of an apology.

They actually do. This year anyways. A ticket for our games in the playoffs is the same as what has been set for the whole season.

Jesus wept give Saints SOME credit & we weren't as bad as some make out. More of an off day IMO not necessarily 'terrible'.
Still, dread to think of the crowd next week

| Be lucky to break 8,000 with no away support. It's going to be cringeworthy. Seeing as the playoffs are an integral part of the season, I still don't understand why season ticket holders don't get some kind of reward/discount after paying to go to every home game of the season.

| Is this some sort of $hit wind up?
Playoff crowds are notoriously poorer than in the league, throw in it's the week after a previous home game and it's those prices?
That's just daft.

| Biggest game of the SL season, season on the line and it'll be our lowest SL attendance by some distance.
You've gotta love RL fans.

If you go to every home game like you say you do, then buy a season ticket. It's not that difficult of a concept to grasp. I have already paid £450 for two season tickets, god knows how much on away games and cup matches and as of next Sunday... £44 on playoff games. Get off your high horse, money is tight.

I'm sorry but they must do, otherwise tickets for every game would be the same price, whereas they're normal price at each different stadium.

| Hopefully eTicket problems are resolved for this one, booked mine no problem in less than a minute.
FWIW, on the season ticket / non season ticket debate. Season Ticket holders commit a guarnteed sum of money to the club each season, they deserve some kind of reward for that, and priority tickets to the big games is the right reward.

| Massive queue of four people when the shutters went up this morning. Could have done without forking out for another game at the mo, but hey ho - rough with the smooth and all that. If I just liked watching winning teams I wouldn't have been going rain, hail or sun for the past 50-odd years.

Sport would not be sport without the win or defeat factor. I like to be entertained, Saints won but I can still say I took something from the game, rather the empty offerings in the other play off games. I can live with a close defeat and a decent performance from Wigan but guaranteed hammerings to teams should be left to the schoolboys I prefer my professional sport to be competative.
