Yes, it was ALLEGED he had done it, there was no actual proof. And the club suspended him. Your little brainbox did it on national tv and was clearly recorded. It was an incredibly stupid thing to do, especially as he appeared to have cut a lot of the silly niggly stuff out of his game lately and was actually being noticed ( and quite rightly) for his rugby skills. He's now put himself right back to square one as far as the rugby league public outside Wigan are concerned.

I thought sport had clamped down on this classing it as 'inciting the riot' maybe Wigan are still exempt from harsh actions.

I started watching the game today supporting your boys but what you don't do is give the away fans the v it spoilt what was a good game for me this is supposed to be the show case of rugby league I hope they throw the book at him we don't need it

It was very stupid of him to do what he did and on national TV as well. Hopefully he will learn not to do something that brings the game in to disrepute.

Basically because there is a difference between a fan and a player. A fan has the right to voice their opinion, until it becomes racist or illegal. As for wishing him serious injury well that is bad. However, the player is a so called professional who should always know better. Example Eric Cantona who did the ultimate revenge on a fan. Tomkins should be fined by both club and Super League and be taught a lesson. Brilliant player but not a nice person at all.
