Makes me laugh how on the Leeds board they are going mad because it was a 'definite try' when kickin the ball in play, unless you are kicking a DROP goal, the ball has to hit the foot before the floor. Now McGuire was obviously not trying to kick a DROP goal. So its a clear no try.

On the Leeds site (although they agree that it probably wasn't a try) they seem to think it would have been given if it hadn't been on TV. I don't agree. When the "try" was scored the touch judge stands back and holds his position on the touchline.This tells the ref that he has something to say before the try can be given. Alibert then went straight to the screen and Ganson disallows the try. If the cameras hadn't been there then Alibert would have to have listened to the touch judge and decided if it was a try after listening to his account. I still think it would have been disallowed.
