Interviewed by that well know investigative journalist Brian Carney. Should be some really good stories to tell but I'm going in with low expectations that it's the usual fluff but hope to be pleasantly surprised.

It SHOULD be a very interesting interview, Mo has been one of the key figures in ours and the games recent history. With Carney interviewing I dont hold out much hope, half the questions he asks you already know the answer to. I'll still be watching though!

Mo has been the most influential man in Rugby League in the past 40 or more years. A one hour programme would struggle to fit his story.

If he ever writes a book it will be a RL best seller.

Mr Lindsay has done alot for the game, even when it meant Wigan were going to be brought closer to the pack. Preston are up creek at the min though.

Simply he's a Wigan RLFC legend up there with the likes of Boston, Edwards, Hanley, Bell etc.

He's the spark which kicked Wigan & RL screaming into the modern era.

If only todays administrators had the same vision and balls as Maurice. Made some controversial decisions however the good decisions far outweigh the ones that some may perceive as being bad for the game.

Wise words with regards to the international game too.

Love him or loath him he has been very influential and has done more than anybody to drag RL kicking and screaming into the modern era.

That was better that I thought, he's also done a hell of alot for the game that goes unappreciated by other fans. He had the balls to make some big decisions for the game, fair play to him they didn't all come off but that's life eh!

Well even my incredibly low expectations of the programme were nowhere near being met. They may well have had Rupert Murdoch on for the first half and precisely zero about the problems during his second reign and not a single mention of the "salary cap".

Did you really expect the programme to be about how he failed second time around at Wigan and how he failed to get a grasp on the salary cap?

You surprise me fella.

I expected at least one question to actually address what he thinks went wrong or his thoughts on 2006/the cap etc, to break up the love in. We got absolutely nothing.

On second thoughts I didn't expect anything of the sort which it why the poor nature of the programme never disappoints.

In my opinion the whole idea of the programme was for Maurice to paint himself in a good light for once. I think he did, he answered all questions honestly and he can only answer what he's asked.

Which is precisely why it's a poor programme.

Blame SKY or Brian Carney then.

I broke a habit to watch this one. I won't be making the same mistake again.



I do it every season with Boots n All in the hope they finally make it worth watching - that usually lasts about the first 10 minutes of the first programme.

Boots n All has never been any good, if I get the chance I'll tune into games only, and sometimes they are 80 minutes of life I'll never get back!

To be fair it's the first one I've watched this season (hardly watched any of them last year bar the Newton one). Although not great it was watchable which is more than can be said for a lot of the dross I find on my tv screen these days.

They old Winter Boots 'n' All was superb when they used to get out of the studio every week. Then the "World of Super League" that followed it was equally as good. It's been poor in recent years though.

I have never understood the hate for Morris, before him Rugby League was on a down turn. So now every year we get a big day at Old Trafford, a weekend in the South of France, the best two two teams in world Rugby League play each other. And with my Wigan hat on I got to see some of the best players play some wonderful rugby. Sure he made some mistakes but every one does.
