Just was going to posst the same thing about our pitch watched the pictures from BBC/SKY and its looks dreadful, a BBC reporter called a cabbage patch of a pitch, we must pray its dry the week before WCC otherwise its going be a mess and we will get the blame, dont forget thats what you get building on marshland and not doing it correctly.

Just seen it on the TV the pitch is in a right mess.

It suits the Latics.

I'd love to hear what the idiots who blame us for the state of the pitch are saying now, we aint played on it since last October.

Every year! Its a mess for around 6 weeks of our season in which time we play around 2 games. As said, the pitch is a godsend for Wigan Athletic in their annual relegation battle.

The pitch was an absolute disgrace today. Latics should be heavily fined for that playing surface and the game should have been abandoned.

The only thing that can be blamed is the weather, simple. Plenty pitches in the country looking like that after the weather in the past few days.

How do you think us Rhinos feel after the kick and clap chew ours up all winter. Leeds seemed to pick up loads of ankle and knee injuries early last season, whether that was due to the pitch is debatable.
