George was simply fantastic today, both in defence and attack, and has had a great season again as usual.

Quite simply IL's best value for money signing IMO. Perhaps even Wigan's best 'value for money' signing since Sam Panapa.

Another 12 months of the same quality please George.

Said to my Mrs his tackling was outstanding today - even his last-ditched tackles when he (or someone else) had been stepped, all he needed was one mighty Carmont arm of steel on them and they weren't going anywhere.

Just a superb signing, and the fact that he hobbles about the places and generally looks busted all the time, makes it all that more impressive that he can put on displays like tonight's. There isn't another centre in SL that I'd swap for George.

Certainly should be able to do another 12 months.

as you say George Carmont was outstanding again tonight . it is a long time since I have seena player who seems quite so commited to the cause , great signing and well done to IM and it must be said Nobby for rescuing him from the scrap heap let's not forget when Wigan signed him he had been released by Newcastle and London turned him down . lets just say he has more than paid for that faith in him in his time in the cherry and white up to now .

carmont and Gleeson were fantastic tonight definately my 2 and 1 and would probably give 3rd to Prekkie or Mickey Mac who I thought also looked very confident tonight especially when coming from dummy half.

I remember driving away from jjb other year ,can t remember who we had played ,but some numpty phoned in on bbc manchester slating carmont saying they ve never heard of him and ranting on an on then they said to the numpty have you been to match tonight , he replied No . i was thinking what a idiot , like you say best value for money buy in a long time

MOM tonight for me, he was everywhere.

A very dangerous player is our George, and I don't think he has been 100% fit for quite a while. Our threequarter line was pretty good today.

He was absolutely superb in defence in the second half. Can't fault him at all.

Pretty useful with his head too trying to butt delaney whilst prone on the floor following a tackle W***ker
