The record for the highest number of tackles in a Super League game is 66 by Steele Retchless for London against Bradford. Faz was only 8 short of that, in a fairly one sided game. He may be able to beat the record if he plays 80 minutes in a tight game. |

The record in SL I believe was by Steel Retchless for the London Broncos when he made 62 in a game.
58 for a forward in his debut season is quite brilliant.

Agreed, fantastic effort that is, show how much he wants success.
Re Clarkson, we rave about him because he's come from nowhere this year to almost securing his spot in the 17 when fit. Good meters, willing to play out of position when requested (on the wing in 2 matches iirc) But ATEOD he's a loose and until Sinfield makes way, he'll have to ply his trade in the second row where he has taken his chance fantastically. Averaging 25-30 tackles a match is superb, for anyone, especially a kid who has told the likes of Ian Kirke to shift aside. |
