Fantastic. I like Terry Albert, he lets the game flow, possibly because he misses everything.
I'd sooner have that than a pedantic, stop-start so and so like Bentham or Ganson.

Actually I think Alibert is the only ref who isn't biased against Wigan. Resentment of our past dominance makes me think that all the other refs are looking to penalise and sin bin Wigan players with extreme lenience for the opposition but Alibert being French has no such baggage. Of course he does make mistakes but he is excellent at spotting forward passes.

Wonder whether the VR will make any controversial decisions/blatant mistakes or whether he'll be passing on advice via the radio link to Alibert ( but failing to do so if this would disadvantage Leeds)!

Terrible Albert will do for me. To be honest, the standard of refereeing really shouldn't be an issue against Leeds this coming Sunday. |

Just seen on RFL site we have uncle alibert for sunday with our best friend (bentham) as video ref
Hopefully we can make sure he doesn't have to go to the screen to many times.
