Don't know if any of you have ever seen any episodes of this. Its usually football players from the 70s/80s reminiscing about their team. There's just been an advert for a new series and it showed some cricket teams and (more importantly) Shaun Edwards lifting a Challenge Cup. Looks like Wigan might get a run out on one of the episodes. Edwards, Offiah + 1?

Can only assume its a programme about the 8 in a row cup run, the description is a vague just saying "Wigan Warriors". The series also features discussions on the 1981 Grand National, Welsh Rugby Union in the 70s, Keith Deller's 1983 World Darts victory, Hockey victory in 1988 Olympics, Ryder Cup Golf and 1970s Wrestling.

This Sporting Life was on last night too. Started watching it but realised Katy Perry was on Alan Carr's Chatty Man and I'm afraid she won.

I wasn't sadly, but I was at the FALLEN HERO filming at Central Park in the mid-1970s - David Willicombe was the Wigan player who crippled the main character in a tackle, ending his career early. It was a Floodlit Trophy match, I think, featuring Wigan and I'm not sure who else. They also filmed a sequence at a Salford game a few weeks later. I still remember that one quite well. The TV crew were fortunate enough to capture David Watkins scoring a superb try.

Just seen the 'Time of our lives' advert. Only saw the back end of it and Radlinski was shown I think picking up the Harry Sunderland award in 1995. May be our Grand Slam winning side?
