Think that's about right. It was dangerous yes and was probably worthy a red card but big fat ganson couldn't keep up with play. I think you could see from his body shape that he was going for a shoulder charge as opposed to a blatant elbow so for once I think the panel have got one pretty much right

he has been charged with a RECKLESS tackle a Grade C offence for which the sanction is 2-3 games...a DANGEROUS tackle Grade D offence carries a much heavier possibility 3-5 games IIRC |

It should have been more but then at least he's got some games. I expected him to get a one game ban at most and a small fine.
We don't benefit at all from this which is a disgrace but who cares now? We've got a week to freshen up and then get back on the trail to Old Trafford with any luck. One day the disciplinary may wake up but what it will take for that to happen is a scary thought.

Advice to anyone tempted to reply to Leeds trolls in this thread - NEVER argue with an idiot. They will pull you down to their level and the extra experience will see them through.
Three games is about right by the way and will probably actually not hurt Leeds anyway.

Ablett is a dirty player no need for wat he did and wat amazes me was the ever enthusiastic mc lennan what was it he said........ well i didn't really see anything wrong with the tackle, yeah thats why leeds are doing so well this season er NOT, oh and Charnley playing great for us cheers....

He fully deserved a ban, but i agree with you Sam
Apart from this one incident, I have never seen anything to make me think that he is a dirty player.
Sam is an intergral part of what wigan do on a rugby park and athough i cannot condone cheapshots. i can understand Ablett for wanting to take him out of the game.
I think we can all draw a line under this now. All this tittle tattle between you lot and us, is getting a little tedious. |
